It can be hit or miss. I correspond occasionally with a few well known people including a bestselling author. Other times the person lets it be known that they don’t read direct messages. X isn’t really a platform suited for private messaging very well, to be honest.

I get it that Dolly is just being Dolly, but I do occasionally wonder whether she truly “gets it.” I wonder to what extent she realizes that her over-the-top persona of this kind of campy, painted-up exaggerated version of feminity has provided a model to several generations of trannies

I didn’t even like Betty White. I know that’s unpardonable in America, but I could see through her like I saw through Woody Harrelson when everyone loved him on Cheers. Her calling Palin a bitch was just the mask slipping a little.
She might’ve been raised in church, but she wasn’t listening.
I was certain she had gone to the Dark Side when her wokeness caused her to rename the show, “Dixie Stampede” to just “Stampede”, because “Dixie” triggered people. That’s just nuts.
Everything here in eastern TN is “Dolly”. One positive thing is her program giving free books to kids (depending on the book, of course).
