No it was not. It had no mention about the priest being a pedophile suspected or otherwise. Perhaps you simply jumped to a conclusion.
Why else would you invite a homosexual into the classroom to read to children? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this is about grooming children.
The priest being a pedophile is a given. And the congregation was rightfully so outraged. They got caught and the priest paid the price. Why any parent would ever leave their child anywhere near a priest is beyond me.
Your entire line of reasoning is based on this, a false premise. It is, therefore, invalid. You need to do better.

You did not read the article. People complained because the priest realized having the author there was wrong and HE APOLOGIZED. That is what got him in trouble. That is why the bishop ousted him. Because he dared to say that guest speakers, authors, and the like do not belong in a Catholic school if their lifestyle is contrary to Catholic teaching.
AND ENOUGH WITH THIS SHIT THAT ALL PRIESTS ARE PEDOPHILES.
