Ultimately, of course, it is God who Authors His Bible.
I am aware of some issues with John MacArthur, but none are serious enough to preclude benefiting from his study Bible. He is flawed, just like everyone else.
We kept our daughters physically, but from their conception we surrendered their lives to Him unreservedly. And it was my very immense privilege to lead both of them to a saving relationship with Him.
