It was the church of my youth (50 years ago)

I was raised in a group that had women preachers. Escaped their doctrine chains back in 1974! Best move ever! Have been going to a small SBC church ever since.

Only time the women ever took over the little SBC church was between pastors, and a church split, when none of the men wanted to lead prayers and singing. Once an interim male pastor came in the women stepped down. They actually kept this little church together in that time.

The only thing sad about this is that the SBC abdicated their duties for so long to let this church remain in good standing, allowing them to “quit” rather than be “fired” for cause.

We have female pastors in our ministry and they are more conservative than many of the men. This is especially true of the women who serve as clergy on men’s weekends.

I have seen churches go modern and time and time again within a few years it’s either an apostate social club practicing an abomination and mocking God or dying slowly from dwindling attendance.

If you can approve of women pastors and deacons and homosexuality why would you bother with anything else God said in His word? What’s the point, you have decided you are your own god and have said sin isn’t sin.

The SBC has many leftist in it’s leadership and if it doesn’t change its direction it will soon follow the other liberal denominations into obscurity and apostacy.
