I hear you! But lying is also a sin, do I agree with you on that.
**The New Apostolic Reformation movement is infiltrating many Churches.**
Isn’t that ideology of teaching people to be prophets?
(To the tune of the old dr pepper commercial):
I’m a prophet, she’s a prophet, he’s a prophet, they’re all prophets, wouldn’t you like to be a prophet too? Be a prophet, send us some money.....
Are you trying to make a point? If so, what is it?
Just wondering...
**If** what you say is true, and **if** the Southern Baptists were all perfect, there would still be almost twice as many Catholics as Southern Baptists.
Well yes, that is certainly possible... and may very well be the case.
As a Catholic though, I really don't know much about the Southern Baptist denomination- so for me, I couldn't speak to that.
I just know the 70 million Catholics number that gets bandied about
is wishfully inflated, and needs to be nuanced when mentioned.
(At the same time though, I do wish that 70 million number was accurate.)

____________
I do not think the Catholic number is “wishfully inflated;” I think it is the number of people who, unless God is very merciful towards them, will be judged *as Catholics,* because it is how many have been known to be Catholic by being baptized or received into the Church.

_______________
But I can heartily agree with this!
