“Explains a Bishop”? WTF?
Yes, that is the spark. But it’s just cells to them. To see a living being fighting for its life is something else.
Perhaps the Commenter was unaware of 2 John 1:10-11 which says that if a Christian bids godspeed to one who is evil, the Christian *PARTAKES* of their evil. With respect to abortion, the Christian becomes a murderer.
You are spot-on!
In this video “Why This Atheist Scientist Became a Believing Christian” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMBQwGzn_TE the scientist explains that a critical point in evolution is abiogenesis.
There are two classes: Living and non-living. The distinction is replication. Living things can replicate. Egg meets sperm, WHAM! BAM! REPLICATION! That egg and sperm become a living human cell that can replicate itself. Are we correct to speculate that, in God’s mind, this living cell is a human being?
Then, when does God give this living cell a soul? Did Adam receive a soul at the moment a “pile of dirt” became a living, replicating, human being? Or, did God wait four or five months?
I’m going with the moment.
Interesting that a sperm is alive since it can move although it can not replicate itself. Also interesting that DNA cannot replicate itself unless it is in a living cell.

I’ve been told but I can’t watch.
If in fact an abortion is seen as murder, I am not innocent. We were an arrogant Generation. Speaking in generalities, we also failed to teach our progeny the lessons.
