The is a historical problem that Eastern Orthodoxy has:
* Protestantism - Church and state are separate
* Catholicism - The state is beneath the church
* Orthodoxy - The church serves the state
It’s not theological, but after hundreds of years of despotism the Eastern Churches are very reluctant to stand up to those in power.

This Russian invasion of Ukraine has revealed a hitherto hidden aspect of many posters here. Like Stalin accusing his enemies of being a Trotskyite if you didn’t completely fall in line with the policies of his regime, now someone who doesn’t cheerlead the Russian forces laying waste to Ukraine are suddenly labeled a Biden loving, globalist NWO warmonger! You might consider that some hold slightly more nuanced views. Those of us who can walk and chew bubblegum at the same time can recognize the serious problems with Ukraine while also understanding that Putin is not God’s chosen messenger to clean out corruption in Ukraine and expose Biden’s ties to skullduggery in the region.

I have read dozens of your comments where you advocate for ratcheting up the confrontation between America/NATO and Russia and arguing against anyone that calls for restraint and logic.
