I remember reading about that.
I believe it was the “Pill” they were testing, and, yes, it would have that effect of synchronization.
I believe I heard that story in a Marketing class at USC’s School of Business about 1973, and the Pill was late ‘60s or so.
Well, there ya go.
“Your insight into Jonah’s dishevelled post-ejection appearance has company. I’ve seen speculation that the effect of three days’ partial immersion in the sea-critter’s gastric juices so bleached and ravaged Jonah’s skin, hair, etc., that his horrific appearance played a substantial role in the sudden universal conversion of the Ninehvites.
Image #33 today and #53 yesterday hint at that.
That would be powerful testimony. ‘you really don’t want to...’”
Yes indeed. Add that to the fact the Ninehvites worshipped Dagon the fish god. Here you have the world’s largest fish spitting out a live human who then preaches God (of the Hebrews) is angry with you. God already proved His ability to use fish as a transportation device and as a life capsule. Doesn’t that prove that He is greater than Dagon?
Didn’t know they were Dagonites. Reformed? Charismatic? Filleted?
and Your sense of Humor is
Still Delicious!
Thanks!
Jonah has a happy ending and was fun to present.
Jonah is one of the few
Spoken of by Our
Lord Jesus.
