Ravi Zacharias was a well known and extremely effective apologist and if there was anything there, Satan would have exposed it LONG ago.

I am just learning this deeply in my late 60’s. Spirit, Soul and Body is a great teaching. (Buy Andrew Womack’s book for the study. I don’t gravitate to all his teachings but this one has been profound to my spirit!) There is sin and then there is iniquity.
Lust is a real problem for many people as the sex drive God gave us is very strong.
The really unfortunate thing about this whole mess is that he, of all people, knew better, and yet was still not able to control his passions.

Amazing. And I’m always shocked at people giving their attention & money to these grifters.
What arguably made David a man after God’s own heart was when told “you are the man” he repented ... every time.

This is where men like Graham showed wisdom by pledging to never be alone with women who weren’t their wives or family ... and it’s telling that they’ve been mocked for it by a sexually liberated society that imagines there’s no greater freedom than who does what to whom with their genitalia.
I'll remain skeptical until more concrete evidence is made public. The one video indicated that Pastor Johnny Hunt had been asked about this and he indicated he was good friends with Zacharias and was also a customer at one of the spas, and he never heard anything; not one statement or complaint. So, is Hunt a liar? or is he a pervert just covering for a fellow pervert? or is he telling the truth?
Zacharias was the one that sued the first victim (you should look her up. The list of grievances is endless and she claims she was abused by just about every male in her past. She seems unhinged) and she settled (got to get the ultimate prize...money). Why would he sue? If he had such power over her, why didn't he just somehow shut her up?
Then all the others coming out after his death. Like I said before, if a man's life's work and reputation is going to be destroyed, there should be rock-solid evidence presented; not a long line of 'claims'.

Agreed and although I am no fan of Mike Pence at the moment, I applaud him for obliging to the same standard.
Don’t start attacking me personally because I’m skeptical. I’ll repeat my question to you, what is it that convinced you that this happened?
My take is we need all of the bible. If you only learn about grace or lean only on grace each time some one sins, goofs up, whatever you want to call it, that means they can keep repeating, there is no need for revelation/repentence/change, and if change isn’t happening...Jesus is missing some how in the equation. IMO the full bible is needed, cant just lean on one part or other separately. Every human is sinning in some capacity daily, otherwise no need for Jesus.
People all upset about a person’s sin being exposed just means they aren’t following the bible to examine themself to see their own faults.
People really need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask God what else they need to change or do better at and stop judging others.
God uses broken people to reach others, it doesn’t make their brokenness right or negate it, but He uses all willing people (and some that don’t even realize it) to at times be a light (thru their good or bad actions) for others to maybe choose to see their need for HIM.
Plenty of people of God in leadership messing up every day.
God knows humans are falible and the world is sinful, and it’s also not a surprise to any person, except maybe to those choosing to trust man more than God.
I have yet to find one bible preacher, teacher, minister, organization, church, etc without fault, except the actual bible. Which is how God designed things to be, only He is without fault/sin.
Many need to understand that the Old Testament is the Old Covenant of the Law which was done away at the cross (Heb 8:13) and was replaced by the New Covenant of the Grace of Christ.
One must do more than just read God’s Word. One must properly read and discern by the Holy Spirt the Word of God which is “quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Heb 4:12).
The purpose of the law is summarized in Galatians: “Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith” (Gal. 3:24).

Call it the Holy Spirit. Call it intuition, I never saw what the fuss is about surrounding him. I felt he was an empty suit.
Christianity has a long intellectual tradition of scholarship going back centuries, which sadly American Christians have had a strong historical hand in disavowing and dismantling - by instead incorporating all the slimy consumerism, materialism, and celebrity worship of the secular world into the church landscape.

Well I found nothing of Ravi’s preaching to put him on the same wavelength as the great Christian thinkers of the past in terms of scholarship or articulation of ideas — and it turns out he lied for decades about his academic resume too! He never was a student at any of the elite institutions (like Cambridge University) that he claimed to be associated with.
Could I have guessed that he was a sexual predator? No.
But high minded scholar he was not. More of a televangelist with a schtick. And because the bar set by televangelists is SO LOW in terms of substance, he came off as an Einstein!
Like someone who schmoozes and plagiarizes their way through school and up the social ladder by exaggerating their “credentials.”
