14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
I pity you. Through your hatred of what I believe you can’t even see that I’m trying to help you see the truth.
Thanks but I’m just a sinner. Your self righteouness cannot save me. I’ll keep my faith in Calvary.
Looks like you have all the faith you need....in yourself.
Good luck with that. It looks like you’ve already arrived. Keep us mortals updated though.
Thanks but I’m just a sinner.
What do you care about sinning and lawlessness? You just told me that no one can keep God’s law. Good luck with THAT. (Sin is the transgression of God’s law)

Well, I guess the rest of us just haven’t arrived yet like you have.

No, it sounds like you are giving God the middle finger, whether you mean to or not.
Nice try. Because others don’t see things your way you accuse them of the trash I won’t even repeat.
2 Corinthians 12:9
King James Version
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Hebrews 7:18-20
King James Version
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Psalms 19
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Last post I plan on wasting time with you.
The Law is perfect.
The Lord is perfect.
And this may come as a shock to you. But YOU are not perfect!
With that, have a fantastic night.
What will be the standard of Judgment?
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1 John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Eccl 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Answer: The 10 commandments of God are the standard of judgment.
And this may come as a shock to you. But YOU are not perfect!
I never said I was. But, you have clearly said that you are not responsible for keeping the “unkeepable” law of God, the 10 commandments, because it’s impossible for anyone to keep them, even though God says to keep them to show him our love to him. I hope anyone reading this sees what a ridiculous statement you have made. Many people who believe that will no doubt lose their salvation, similar to believing in a pre-trip rapture.
We are all going to be judged, whether you believe it or not. And God’s 10 commandment law is that foundation.
Romans 2
…11For God does not show favoritism. 12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous
