ENCOURAGING UPDATE:
Dan did OK on a small bowel X-ray yesterday, so today they clamped his NG tube and took it out when he had no vomiting.
He was seen by the speech therapist and actually ate a tiny amt of puréed food for supper.
Still is sleepy and has not been out of bed for days.
White count is below 20K now.
Please pray that he gets more aggressive therapy to gain strength and wakes up more.
Praying for your brother!! It is so hard to watch our loved ones when they are ill.
May God touch his body and restore Dan to health.
