How can we believe in a Church that allows these men into positions of authority and even adulation?

The crucial factor that drew the man-God Jesus to his brother like a magnet was the inflection point—someone who could go one way or the other depending on the timing and direction of the “nudge”. A prodigious sinner, the proverbial “lost sheep”, finally revolted by the mire in which they had so willingly flung themselves, primed for spiritual redirection. An honest thinker who has debunked empty narrative after empty narrative they’ve been fed for years is starting to realize that the true path to personal salvation has nothing to do with individual intellectual achievement but only appears to those who have developed a childlike faith. A proud man has been doggedly pursuing praise and honors from his fellow man only to realize that all that effort has left him an empty shell. Fr. James Martin S.J. is behaving like a hireling, or, worse, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Increasingly, he can be counted upon to push these vulnerable seekers in the exact wrong direction. Who hears the voice of the true shepherd when he weighs in on this or that issue? His is a broken (analog) clock theology. Does he care about salvation of souls or justifying his friends in perpetual sin?

I just tried to find some of it on the google and there has been some serious scrubbing going on.

Only one match for the handwritten letter to Jim Jones and the link it is associated with is dead.

I just bought the book and delivered it to my Kindle.

Funny because the relationship occurred around the same time all the Manson mishagas was happening in SF at the CIA front free clinic at the Haight.

I visited that area with my kids once. Place is pure evil.

Okay . . . so the director is a homosexual "married" to a Catholic homosexual . . . and yet Church Militant goes with the headline "Jewish filmmaker gives Catholics a gay J----?"

I have learned over the years that traditional historical chrstianity (as opposed to American-style Fundamentalist Protestantism) is inherently and blatantly anti-Semitic (when you reject penal substitution, all that is left is "The Jews killed 'gxd!' He hates them now!"), but I would not have believed this of Church Militant.

I know that most right wing Catholics honestly seem to believe that "Judaeo-Masonic" is one word and the world is ruled through the "sanhedrion" via "qabbalah," but I am really disappointed in CM. They should know better . . . unless they aim to start pushing the "Jews are not `Amaleq" line.
