So does my Bible - but the story of the lighting of the candles and seven days of oil is not in any of them. If I am mistaken, please tell me where I can find these recorded.
Exactly.
I am not sure why people, 2,000 years later, are concerned with the minutiae. I guess its a fun discussion, but an academic one only.
Sometimes I think there are way too many people interested in Talmudic arguments than they are with comprehending the messages from both religions.
But...whatever floats your boat.
No problem - just commenting because so many get “distracted” by events that really don’t matter and some miss out on the real story - He died for us so that even imperfect, sinful mortals can be redeemed.
Some also forget that while He walked among us, He was under the Old Covenant which meant He had to follow it in order to be the only “Man” to never break a Commandment while telling us what was to come.
God Bless and hope the New Year is the best one yet and the worst of those to come....(I think that’s an old Irish blessing but this Pollack likes it)
In Christ.....
