Have Mercy on those that need to feel your presence
drawing near to them as we approach Christmas this year.

I need to make an anonymous prayer request for a dear FReeper and
all those caring for spouses that are struggling with dementia.

Nothing is more precious to me than the promise of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, especially at this time of year. For without him I have no hope.
I woke up one day and I was old and elderly. Looking through the back pages of my life, I discovered he had blessed and guided me in ways I could not understand at the time.
So when lifes’ burdens become too heavy and you can’t shoulder them anymore, give them to HIM. He will comfort you in times of trouble.
My father died, rather suddenly, Thanksgiving pre-dawn.
My mother is beside herself with upset and we hate to leave her alone.
Meanwhile my MIL has acquired an infection and thinks she is not coming for Christmas at our already tiny party (now only my mother is a guest), and my nephew thank God has just had a premature baby. Latter is well now but we hope he stays that way - there were definite concerns this week including yesterday.
My prayer is one for all that have lost a loved one . May God be with you and seek his arms so that you can derive some peace in your time of sorrow . Reach out to the trinity that Jesus has paved the way for with his conquering death for our sake . May you find the peace and love that God offers for free .
Its very thoughtful of you to post this thread.
Thank you.
I lost my dear Aunt Peggy in September. She was really my big sister/mother.
In the midst of mourning theres still the joy of celebrating Christs loving us enough to come into our world, bringing with Him our salvation.
Im keeping all who are posting on this thread in my prayers during this difficult but glorious holiday season.
May God bless us all.
Amen. It is hard to be alone at Christmas. Heartfelt prayers that the love of God will manifest.
I have read up to post 184. So much need for prayer and you all have opened your hearts to share and ask. This thread is a wonderful idea. We have our own age and health related challenges. Love really is the answer. That and faith and forgiveness. Even if relationships end and the person hurting us does not ask for forgiveness we should forgive them in our hearts and move on without them. I will be praying for all these requests.
Prayers up for all in need on your Christmas thread...
This Christmas season just got a little harder for our family too and I just posted a new prayer request here for our grandson - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3802765/posts
Jesus died for you.
For your stupidiity. Your ego.
That’s all in the past, paid for... now stand up!
I wish everyone on this thread a very Blessed Christmas/Holiday season and a very Blessed 2020.
