Went to our local cathedral for Easter high mass. Glorious music, outstanding, beautiful church—but not as jam-packed as it was two years ago for Easter.

Some of us feel the pope is a fraud and ultra liberal, but don’t believe it would be kind to go to “mentally deranged”.
My beliefs go back to before Martin Luther, and before the RC church was invented. I don’t care what other denominations believe, as we all have the blessing of free will. I think other denominations’ beliefs are interesting, though.

1. If you had ever read the writings of Martin Luther you would understand why “mentally deranged” is an appropriate description of that heretic.
2. Your religious beliefs are not credible because they are based on the Gospel According to the Mayflower Madam. “Me and My Bible” has always been rejected as nothing more than a subjective exercise embraced by those who are referred to by St. Paul in 2 Tim 4:3.

So, Dearie, did you take time to contemplate how the sacred words of 2 Tim 4:3 might apply to you? Another verse you might wish to contemplate is Acts 8:27. I hope that instead of falling back on your “years of studying the Bible”, you will humbly look for guidance through a diligent study of the Catechism of the Council of Trent.
