I impressed by your knowledge of language in general and Greek in particular. I suppose I can’t argue with you in terms of linguistics. Perhaps it would be better to say that I “talk” to Mary and the saints rather than pray.

Ya know of course that God judges the heart...If you are not worshiping Mary when you 'pray to her', God knows that...But what are the majority of Catholics actually being taught???

The queen of heaven, the mediatrix, the mother of God, and on and on...Jesus fulfills ALL of Mary's requests...Mary sits at the right hand of Jesus...Mary is the dispenser of grace...Mary fulfills prayer requests...Mary performs miracles...Mary is omniscient...And then they are 'taught' to pray to Mary which by the biblical definition is worship of God or a deity...The Catholic teachers who teach Catholics to pray to Mary KNOW the biblical definition of praying to someone is worship...And then they tell the Mary worshipers that it's not really worship...

Mary was mother to what had to be born. God didn’t have to born, for he has always been, and has never changed. Mary was mother to what increased in wisdom and stature. God has always known all things, and can’t grow, since he is everywhere at the same time. As Jesus declared: “God is a Spirit.” John 4:24. And the Son made it quite clear that it was the Father in him doing the works. (Jn 14:10)

Paul said: “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 1Cor. 4:18

And Hebrews 11:1 states that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”, and “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made by things which do appear.” 11:3.

The folks who saw Jesus Christ, ( I’m speaking of his physical form of a man) did not seen the creator, for as John declared: “No man hath seen God at any time.” Jn 1:18 and 1Jn 4:12

One simple fact that should also be noted: the phrases “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Ghost”, are not found in the scriptures. The Son is OF God. The Holy Spirit is OF God. I am Zuriel of Free Republic, not, Free Republic the Zuriel.

Here’s a thought provoking question...... where is the Father NOT at?

Yes. But God doesn’t like to take “no” for an answer when he is directing you to do something. Moses tried to say no to God’s call at the burning bush. Moses didn’t get excused.
