Perfect racket forcing people to pay for service the will not use. All money in and no money out. Except for judicial fees of course.

No matter how unjust, it’s a completely legal ruling and only the USSC can establish a new legal definition of “preventing the exercise thereof”.

OR, the completely worthless and corrupt Republican congress could address the issue and put new law on POTUS’ desk.

Remember, their whole bread and butter shtick is to inflame the passions of those who care about life, God’s rules about marriage and the Constitution as written.

But they never, ever put their votes where their mouths are.

They only use us.

Tell the judge to go take a flying wiz up a crooked rope.

The grounds keepers, maintenance people, cleaners, secretaries, bookkeepers, etc, the priest himself, are all PAID employees.

Or do you think that the work above just “miraculously happens”?

Well, Mr. Federal Judge Your Honor person,
Rhyme me this:

If an abortion is a ‘basic health care’ right, why does the state allow abortion clinics to charge for their services? Shouldn’t they be supported by private donations or state sponsorship? Is there a political difference between state sponsorship and sloughing it off onto insurance companies?

This judge is a progressive. Progressives lack compassion and tolerance. Only their self-aggrandizement matters.

It's daffy, simply untrue that any church that has employees is a cult. Where do you get this odd notion? Your opinion supported neither by Scripture nor by history.

Although he often preferred to support himself by his earnings as a tentmaker, St Paul made a point of saying he had a right to be supported by the local churches, because "the laborer is worthy of his hire." I suppose you want teachers, counselors, the full-time bilingual secretary/office manager, the parish nurse, and even the grounds and maintenance crew to work for nothing? You think maybe they're independently wealthy? A group that requires all its staff to work for nothing --- like Scientology --- now *there's* a cult.

That’s all good. The problem is attempting to joint insure those that work for the church. The stinking government always gets involved with that move.

Pay those that keep the church going but let them do their own insurance thing...just like most of us.

You’ve got a good point there. I do think there are other means of covering medical costs. One is that the employees self-insure: I think that’s still an a available option. If not, there are some Christian cost sharing programs which ALL the churches should look into.

As you said, they shouldn’t be entangled with the government in ways which just put them in the clutches of the State.
