That “venerate” is synonymous with “worship” is obviously lost upon you for a variety of reasons, your choice of house of worship among them, but I do find myself wondering if English is your first language.

Uhhh -- from YOUR source --- venerate means to "regard with great respect". Maybe you should look in the mirror at that "English is your first language" thing...

BTW, you asserted, “This has been answered hundreds of times on here — but I will do it again, just for the slow ones.” And since you are not familiar with the question, the answer, or the implications, you fail, and the question to my knowledge has not been answered yet by any Catholic. Your priest won’t even acknowledge he has been asked!

Well that was a poor ‘try’. You did not address the question other than with sophistry. Quite revealing that ...

WOW!!!! Didn't realize I would have to type this slow, but I'll try.

Maybe God Forgave Mary in advance because he knew her heart.

Is that too many big words for you to grasp?

Lack of education is excused ... the word ‘synonymous’ for the list means all the words in the list can and are used to mean venerate, and in most cases equally exchanged in sentence meaning..

So is your answer yes or no?

I have been to Fatima and can honestly state that I sensed NO presence of the Lord there. Mainly it's a tourist trap/pilgrimage site stocked with plenty of vendors, gypsy panhandlers and pickpockets (if one is not careful), purveyors of candles, statues, books, rosaries, crucifixes, mementos, etc. and dozens of people crawling on their bloody knees up a long, wide concrete esplanade to the shrine/basilica for penance/prayer petitions. Jesus may have gotten an honorable mention there but it is all about Mary. The hotels/motels and restaurants do a pretty good business. Portugal is a beautiful country to visit.

See, since Catholics believe in Tradition, (which you, of course, aware of) --- AND not all who proclaim they are Catholic actually are (another point of knowledge that you are aware of)...

Then you surely won't rely on the non-answer to your non-question to one specific individual

"So is your answer yes or no?

My answer is Yes --- God, indeed, had the Power ***AND*** Foresight to Forgive Mary in advance of all her Earthly Sins.

I assume from your response(s), that you don't believe he does...

This is your entire problem with your argument --- "can and are" doesn't ***remotely*** mean ALWAYS ARE.

But we can keep playing "dictionary" games if you want --- since you won't address the point(s)...

That screen capture was not from a dictionary. It was from a thesaurus. A thesaurus contains words that are synonymous, that mean the same thing. That you don’t appear to realize what the purpose of a thesaurus might be gives me further pause regarding your grasp of English. Perhaps turning my to the Latin roots might guide you in a manner more within your safe zone.

God will not lie. JESUS told you that only God is Good. So if Mary was so sinless she was in the same category as Jesus, GOOD. Are you able to follow the words so far?

Stay in your safe-zone, you'll probably get bruised otherwise. There's safety ("cover"--- from your precious thesaurus) there. God knows, you need it....

Not surprisingly, you assume incorrectly because you are assuming based upon your false assertion applied to something I have not posted.

No author given.

Who died and left you in charge that you think people need to answer to you?

First, you need to determine whether Paul was discussing Maryb or answering any questions about Mary, or trying to settle a dispute about Mary.

No. He wasn’t. Therefore, the entire passage is irrelevant. It is Scripture-twisting use a passage as a proof-text regarding an issue the author was not discussing.

Bloviate all you want, parse your priestly PT Barnum pabulum all you want, but the basic fact still remains, venerate = worship.

Was Paul addressing the nature of GOD. Cite the passage to which you are referring.

Complete, and utter, gobbeldy-gook. God can Pre-Forgive anyone He Wants anytime He Wants....

Exodus 20:4-6 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

God forbids the actions that Catholics engage in.

You can split hairs all you want with definitions but the actions are clearly and objectively observed and it is clearly and objectively seen that Catholics, when bowing down before a statue of Mary are breaking the second commandment.

How rich ----- *****YOU***** are the one who ran to a thesaurus for help (and even called me out on my error) -- and then went back to it for reference.

And you accuse ME of bloviating and parsing? LOL!

You, honestly, just outed yourself...
