I don’t have lack of faith. Knowing when to ask for prayer and praise God is all about timing. I dont prayer blast the Lord 24/7 for things that WE humans can do on our own. God helps those who help themselves.

I agree with you; prayer is not a substitute for good works in the same way faith without works is dead. Yet, we are also to pray continually.

Yes, I do agree to pray continually. Reminds me of a skit years ago on SNL back in the 90’s when the character kept praying obsessively “Dear Jesus please help me open this can of beans.” to “dear Jesus, please help me put on my pants properly..”

Then Jesus shows up “My child, I understand your faith in Me, but this is just too much!”
