Near as I understand from personal conversations with an Imam, and my own reading; even though they believe Mary was pregnant by Miracle, Jesus was not the son of Allah, but the simple result of Allah’s supernatural power. They believe to lift Jesus to Son, is to make him God and inheritor of the Kingdom and equal to Allah. To them that is heresy, and not monotheism.
So,Jesus was to be the first born Holy Muslim prophet to announce Allah’s true religion while living; then on the Last day return, not to rule, but as Allah’s appointed General to conquer the Infidels and enforce universal Islam.
Mohammad was the second Holy, and greatest prophet;risen up by Allah six hundred years later,to reform apostate Christianity and Judaism and begin the conversion of the World by Evangelism, immigration, and the sword.
After Jesus finishes the job in End Time, and the World follows Islam, then the Mahdi Will rule as Allah’s appointed King. All three have different roles at different times, and are under Allah’s specific orders;but not as coequals to him.
Very true, as far as it goes. However, Muslims accept the miracle birth of Jesus, but refuse to ask why the necessity for a such a birth in the first place.
Even Islam preaches that God is not capricious. So there had to be a reason for Jesus’ birth that was important to God’s plan of salvation.
This is an important question that, if left unanswered, leaves a pretty big hole in your religious scholarship. The event itself was not mundane, but a very significant miracle that never had happened before or since AFAIK.
Ignorance, in this case, is very dangerous from a spiritual aspect.
