Oh yeah, I forgot....that line "whatsoever you shall bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven and whatsoever you shall loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven".....doesn't seem to leave much room for error, does it???
Yadda yadda yadda. Catholics were Christians for 1500 years before the German Heretic started speaking to Satan. Get over it. Catholics are right Protestants are not.
Catholics wrote it.
“Upon THIS rock, I will found MY Church..”
ONE Church, ONE Catechism, ONE belief, ONE truth for ALL time.
The ONE holy, catholic, and apostolic Church from Peter to this day and until the consummation of the world.
This is why the Church has attracted a whole galaxy of converts from every denomination, very persuasion, and not just Fox Contributor, Kirsten Powers.

Thank you.
The rock Christ was speaking of was Peters confession of Jesus as Christ not Peter himself Just a few verses later Jesus calls Peter Satan If you want your church based on Peter go ahead Mine is based on the only true foundation Jesus Christ And the gates of hell have been smashed by that same Jesus
We should consult the Vegas odds makers.
There you go interpreting the Bible for yourself and doing it badly. Lol.
Beware, children of GOD in CHRIST!
The false doctrines of Francis and the lust-loving, man-pleasing “cardinals” are what you get when you look to mortal (!) men, prey of the flesh and the devil, to rule over your “church”, instead of adhering to JESUS and the Holy Word of GOD alone as your Guide.
Wow! We do have an anti-Francis crowd here!
Forget the Divine Encounter with the much married Samaritan woman at the well; the Prodigal Son; and the brigand and murderer crucified with the Christ. The communion rails now become barricades rather than functioning as a threshold to the Divine encounter. Married Catholics whose prior marriages have floundered on the shoals of human fallibity are consigned to be deprived of the Living Waters in the Eucharist. Annulments are only for the Kennedys and Sinatras of this world. The poor Paraguayan laborer who has re-married following an earlier failed marriage must stand at the back of the divine banquet. This has never been the teaching of the ONE true Catholic Church.
I’m glad you have others to interpret it badly for you if it makes you feel better. It must be a relief to you never to have to think for yourself or have a personal relationship with your Savior I hope some day you find what you are missing I also hope those that you allow to think for you don’t continue to lead you astray as they have done so far
Sola Scriptura - A 16th Century German heresy
Its ok if it make you fell better to believe in your German heresies and errors go right ahead.
This errant interpretation has been rightly rejected by all notable theologians, scholars, saints and martyrs, and was so for the first 1400 years before we saw the plague of Protestantism flood this earth with a mudslide of heresies from Joel Osteen and Billy Graham to David Koresh and Jim Jones, and right down to your current crop of televangelists.
Try explaining this to the vast constellation of people who have converted to Catholicism. These folks are not your run-of-the-mill fools.

Joel Osteen what an unctuous fraud
May GOD have mercy upon your soul, for going astray after Francis, who is informed of the flesh and satan, while denying the power of JESUS, the Incarnate WORD of Almighty GOD.
Whatever. I’ll stick with the One true Church founded by Jesus himself. If you want to wallow in error good for you.
I realized something (once, a long time ago ... like when I kissed the Pope's toe, having swum the Tiber ‘n all.)
It's about trust in God. This was refreshed in me when I had been meditating on the last glorious mystery and I found that our Lady was gently guiding me to acts of confidence in Our Lord, as: Lord, I have no clue what you're doing here, but I trust that you do and you will make all things well.
Our brothers protest (see what I did there?) that we put our trust in a man, we who, corporately, endured Borgia popes! Trust a man? No further than I could toss a sedia gestatoria!
I trust a promise, the need for which is evident to me, and the Lord who made it. And, yes, it's not always easy, until we go to the sanctuary of God. Then we glimpse the end not only of the unjust, but of those who laid their heads down like children.
His promise, despite appearances, is good. So I hold, by his good grace.
Protestant Bible worship, sola scriptrura, is both un-Biblical and illogical. The doctrine can nowhere be found in the Bible, therefore based on its own premise, it disproves itself. Furthermore, plenty of Biblical texts can be referenced that call upon Christians to believe in oral Tradition as well as written Scripture (1st Corinthians 11:2; 2nd Thessalonians 2:25; 2nd Thessalonians 3:6; John 21:25). The Scriptures plainly condemn personal and private interpretation of the Bible apart from the established Tradition of the Church (2nd Peter 1:20; 2nd Peter 3:15-16). Finally, it is the Bible itself that calls the Church, not the Scriptures, the “pillar and foundation of truth” (1st Timothy 3:15). This should be enough for any level-headed Protestant, not emotionally attached to Martin Luther or his teachings, to see that something is wrong withSola Scriptura.
