“Universalism” and “one world religion” aren’t the same thing, and neither one have anything to do with the Pope’s message. It’s rather thinly veiled appeal to Book Haram to stop killing Catholics and other Christians.
So your definition of love is to legitimize their false religion?
I also think with affection of those Muslim immigrants who this evening begin the fast of Ramadan, which I trust will bear abundant spiritual fruit. The Church is at your side as you seek a more dignified life for yourselves and your families."

They’ve been issuing these statements for decades.
This doesn’t make it any less scandalous, but is an old scandal, not a new one.
I agree....it is nothing new....it all goes back to Vatican II’s Decree on Ecumenism, Lumen Gentium and Nostra Aetate.
Pray for the conversion of all to Christ.
As for this universalism, it all a bunch of nonsense.
"And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men." (Mt 15:9)
I remember a neighbor about 15 years ago...carrying around printed materials touting a One World Religion...”united religions “ or something to that effect
I had to ask if that included devil worship,,,,elsewise it would be exclusionary.. He was completely clueless as to why I asked the question!
(Perhaps you would consider defending your statement with substance?????)
I will continue with mine as follows...
This 'false unity' Pope Francis promotes is the emergence of the "last days" apostate church ..the Vatican strategy is to bring all religions under the power and influence of the papacy as he travels the world attempting to build bridges to 'all non-Christian' religions.
If you recall Pope John Paul II also promoted this when he stated...... "Christians and Muslims, we meet one another in faith in the one God...and strive to put into practice...the teaching of our respective holy books"...Further stating....... "Dialogue between our two religions [Roman Catholicism and Islam] is more 'necessary' than ever. There remains 'a spiritual bond which unites us' and which we must strive to recognize and develop.".... Francis is continuing with this strategy as we clearly see in his travels and statements.
There is no 'spiritual unity' whatsoever between those who believe the Gospel and those who do not. None. Jesus has already united us spiritually when we are born again through His Spirit....not thru mans efforts to unite 'organizationally'.....Yet we watch the Vatican use a 'seductive' strategy for a 'false unity' by deliberately 'redefining biblical terms' to make them more vague, ambiguous, and acceptable to both Catholics and Protestants, and all other religions.
The Vatican knows that in order to unite the faiths, they must 'focus on humanitarian projects' that people can agree on and work together to try and solve....(ex: the Globalist agenda for Climate Change)... It doesnt matter whether its about poverty, perceived injustice, abortion, slavery or any other subject.... These are all 'mental conditioning' exercises that Pope Francis is conducting to get all the religions into the same tent.
Throughout the Scriptures we are exhorted to test every spirit, every teacher and every doctrine because men are so easily deceived....2 Cor.6:14 proclaims, ....Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
In 2014 we have Pope Francis's representative joined with the Hindu guru, a Buddhist, Anglican, Orthdox, Jewish, Shiite and Sunni Muslim leaders in signing 'a joint declaration' signiture ceremony inside the Vatican walls.
Sigh - he offered blessings and wishes for peace - perhaps not part of your normal repertoire.
You truly are blind. He speaks of the Muslim practices as enriching their lives and considers Muslims “believers”.
