Based on what? Your own personal interpretation?
Canon 753: While not infallible in their teaching, [Catholic bishops] are the authentic instructors and teachers of the faith for Christ's faithful entrusted to their care. The faithful are bound to adhere, with a religious submission of mind, to this authentic Magisterium of their Bishops.
They must submit "intellect, will, and mind".
If someone told you to kill someone and you resist him, you’re resisting him based on a personal interpretation?
....”It is not in his expertise nor capacity to collaborate with pro-abort and pro-population control atheists to advance a hoax “....
Sure it is...why do you think he was appointed by the Conclave...he’s carrying the message and doing exactly what the Vatican has determined with their Globalist partnership....and you will see Francis aligning with that Agenda a whole lot more.
I’m not sure how much it will take for Catholics to see where their church is headed and aligned with....but I will guarantee the next Pope will be doing exactly the same things Francis is doing....
I’m not talking about perennial Catholic teachings on faith and morals.
“Yeah, and start with the weak “home churches” and “Bible Study groups” first to set the precedent !!!”
They are taxed already since they don’t have real property tax exemptions like churches and religious organizations do.
And just how do you make that determination?
How do you know when you have to listen and when you don't?
What's the basis or criteria for determining that the pope has crossed the line from must be listened to, to doesn't need to be listened to?
You’re not going to have any choice for those who are catholics...short of leaving the church. It’s not just Francis... he’s simply the mouth-piece for the Vatican and their aligning with the Globalist Agenda...that is where the church is and heading further with. Regardless of who is Pope...the trajectory is there and moving forward.
...”I would simply repeat to Catholics “come out of her my people lest ye be partakers of her plagues”.....
That’s exactly what they need to do because no matter who is Pope the catholic leadership is fully on board with the Global Agenda and that is not going to change...it’s set and moving.
If the Pope declared that it is canon that he is a woman, would that make him a woman?
Of course not.
Could Bruce Jenner ever be pope?
I’m guessing this is just going to go in circles because no matter what I say you will turn around and call it “personal interpretation”.
And since you haven’t responded to my question about how you know when to resist another when they tell you to kill someone, I’m also guessing you know that this is not about “personal interpretation”.
I’m confident St Bellarmine, a Doctor of the Church, knows Catholic teaching better than you or I.
Acts 2:46-47 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Romans 16:3-5 Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks but all the churches of the Gentiles give thanks as well. Greet also the church in their house.
Colossians 4:15 Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.
Philemon 1:1-3 Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved fellow worker and Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier, and the church in your house: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The apostles didn't have any problems with house churches.
If he isn’t Catholic he should at least become Caesar of the Roman Empire if he wants to be Pope
Unless the pope is telling you to murder someone, you’re stuck.
What you’re talking about it not following the pope if he’s off base, but what is your criteria for being off based?
Some things are clear cut, like immorality. Others are not.
Seems like Luther at least, had clear cut immorality that he could look at. And he’s castigated for wanting the Catholic church to reform from that. And yet here we have Catholics talking about the same thing.
So what makes Luther so bad when he did it in light of clear cut immorality, and modern day Catholics OK when it’s not so clear cut?
Why is it fine for y’all these days to separate from the church over leadership issues and Luther not?
I see a huge double standard here.
Should be not much problem for BJ since, I hear, he’s been in training for the Decathlon.
Oh. That’s Greek and not Roman.
That's the way I see it. Catholics are going to have some serious decisions to make.
Which creates a huge problem for sedevacantist churches and the Orthodox churches.
Only the nicholaitan type organized religions have problems with home churches.
There seems to be some debate on that within your church 'walls.'
Saint Catherine of Sienna: "Even if the Pope were the Devil incarnate...."
Catherine set high standards for herself, for her friends, for priests and prelates, and especially for the Holy Father. Again and again she urged the popes, first Gregory XI and later Urban VI, to act like Christ: manly, forgiving, honest, loving. Even if a pope did not act like sweet Christ on earth, Catherine believed that the faithful should treat him with the respect and obedience they would show to Jesus Himself. Even if he were an incarnate devil, we ought not to raise up our heads against him but calmly lie down to rest on his bosom.
She wrote to the Florentines, who were rebelling against Pope Gregory XI: He who rebels against our Father, Christ on earth, is condemned to death, for that which we do to him, we do to Christ in heaven we honor Christ if we honor the pope, we dishonor Christ if we dishonor the pope I tell you that God will and has so commanded that even if the priests and the pastors of the Church and Christ on earth were incarnate devils, it is seemly that we are obedient and subject to them, not for their sake, but for the sake of God, out of obedience to Him, for He wills that we should act thus.
