A lot of them are former Catholics; my town has little storefront churches springing up, with signs completely in Spanish, to minister to them. A 300 year-old Dutch church in a neighboring town, with Revolutionary War heroes in its graveyard, was sold to them; their steeple was damaged in Hurrican Sandy, and in the years since they’ve raised $20K of the $250K to fix it...
