The Government is too big to fail and we will prove it by stealing or sucking the last dollar and drop of blood out of your mangy carcass. Nope.
You see, the spending is going to be added into the public debt. The public debt is guaranteed against future taxes. These taxes are non-voluntary, if one does not pay then they are destroyed. — They are literally selling you, your children, and their children into slavery. — They are not going to be satisfied with your carcass, they want your family, they want your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Just another rant from a Communist, Socialist, Fascist, or whatever name you want to put to it Catholic leader. Seems to be more the rule than the exception anymore. The city of seven hills prepares for her destiny.

That's only an average of $40.8 Billion a year, unadjusted for inflation.Math error. That's only an average of $408 Billion a year, unadjusted for inflation.

To every rule there is an exception....most of my relatives are Catholic and the overwhelming majority of them vote Republican, including an elementary school teacher on Long Island who despises Obama.

Of course their is a sizable minority of Catholics that vote Republican. I am a Catholic myself.
My wife and a majority of her family vote Republican.
However my five sisters vote Democrat. My bother votes Republican.
I tend to avoid political discussions when visiting my family.

No, the Fed buys your vote and the needy get 2 cents on the dollar.
With many/most charities the needy get between 60 and 95 cents on the dollar.
This is proven in Europe where charity is nil.

Catholics are split about 50/50. My general impression is that the most liberal portion of "Catholics" in America -- the NY/Massachusetts/northeast area crowd, are mostly non-practicing but bray loudly about being Catholic because it's part of their social identity.
If you think you've met obnoxious people, withhold judgement until you can have a conversation with a Boston-Irish Jack-Catholic.
