"Those Who Start Their Own Church Vomit Poison"

Describes this article.

"Those Who Start Their Own Church Follow the Voice of Satan"

Descriptive of this article.
"All Human Creatures Are Subject to the Pope"
All Christians are subject to Jesus Christ, not a man.

Yet the denomination that is the subject of this post denies members of the true church of Jesus Christ (every soul that believes on Jesus and is born again and has a personal relationship with Jesus...as stated in the Bible as necessary--the universal church of the faithful) salvation:

“The universal Church of the faithful is one outside of which none is saved.”
Pope Innocent III, ex cathedra, Fourth Lateran Council (1215 AD)

We declare, say , define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.
Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam (1302 AD)

As this is the official belief, this officially puts them outside of the universal church of the faithful, made up of every (human creature) born again Christian.
"You see, dearly beloved sons and venerable brothers, how much vigilance is needed to keep the disease of this terrible evil from infecting and killing your flocks."
Wow how true, only applied internally rather than out to all Christians who are not members of the Pope's belief system

I see many Catholics posters saying they believe that those outside of their denomination can be saved Christians.

The popes disagree as can be seen from their quotes above.

The circle is drawn around the Catholic church from their centuries of teachings which they believe encircles the only true Christians, while in reality (there may be some in the Popes sect) they have separated themselves from the TRUE church of Jesus Christ.

I have attended a church that eventually seperated themselves from all others ('cause they weren't "good" enough), and when it got to that point I left to find a true Christian church that recognized what the church of Jesus Christ really is.

It's seems strange to me that people would stay in a demonination whose leaders teach things that do not accept.

Every chruch I have been a part of taught the Biblical definition of the church: Every Christian that is born again and has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Real personal. As the Bible says, Jesus is in me and I am in Jesus.

The bottom line is that if a denomination seperates themselves from every other Christian in the world, they are seperating themselves from True Christianity and His true church.

“We declare, say , define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.”

Well, the Bible says we are subject to a Jewish King for our salvation, and I think I will stick with that, thanks very much.

Protestantism as a whole seeks to divorce Christianity from history by rending Gospel message out of its historical context as captured by our Early Church Fathers. One such target of these heresies is to devalue St. Peter and to twist the authority of Rome into a historical mishap within Christianity. To wit, the belief has as its end the ultimate end of all Catholic and Protestant dialogue – who has authority in Christianity?

The author presumes that his statements are indisputable, but the actual history does NOT back up his claims. He insists that the "authority of Rome" was always understood and implies it began WITH Peter and only continued to this day. This is provably false and easily seen by anyone who is willing to take off their prejudice-tinted glasses. In reality, it wasn't until the FOURTH century that Rome, and, consequently, the Bishop of Rome, saw the establishment of superiority, jurisdiction and power over all of Christendom. What we have today, was NOT what Jesus established with Peter, but the gradual mixing of state with church and the crowning of a monarchy over ALL.

There is no need to twist the authority of Rome into a historical mishap within Christianity because there IS no authority of Rome for all Christians. The ONLY authority we have is the chief shepherd, Jesus Christ, who promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us and the Holy Scriptures, where our rule of faith resides along with the indwelling Holy Spirit, who will lead us into all truth. We don't need a human ruler or king, we have the bridegroom and we are His bride.

For anyone interested in the TRUE origins of the Roman Papacy, this exhaustive work is extremely helpful History of the Papacy.

A long list of proof that does not really say any thing.

Should not of mentioned Abraham, he was in favor of polygamy, either that or let off on the Mormons.

We can read the Bible for ourselves, Paul told the whole world that he accused Peter to his face for he was to be blamed, Peter never defended himself, he took the words of Jesus seriously in turning the other cheek.

Rev 17
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Rev 18
18 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

Wasn’t “Pontifex Maximus” the title of the Roman Emperors? I think it had something to do with them being considered the bridge between all religions.

True Christians follow Christ.

I know this isn't my argument, but I wonder why Catholics can't understand that no matter what the historical record shows, the fact that the Popes reject Biblical inerrancy automatically disqualifies Catholicism?

I invite all un-true (non-Catholic) chrstians to investigate the Noahide Laws instead. No rabbinic sage would ever call the Torah "mythology."
