That would be Jesus Christ, son of the Father (as He himself says over and over again in the New Testament, to do His Father’s will and not His own...which shows again that the Father and Son re distinct members of the Godhead), born of Mary and raised by Mary and Joseph. Who was taken into Egypt to avoid Herod’s deathe dict when the angel warned ospeh and brough back gfter Herod died. Who taught early in the temple, and then started his ministry and performed his first (recorded) ,iracle by turning water into wine. HEaled the sick, fed the multitudes, raised the dead and taught His Gospel and established his disciples, Apostles, Seventy, BIshops, and so forth.
Who was betrayed by one of His own into the hands of the Jews who accused Him falsley and took Him before Pilot. Who was curcified and suffered for the sins of the whole world in a wonderous and miraculous atonement for us all if we but “Come unto Him,” as He bids us all...and then arose the third day in a glorious resurrection and conquered even death so that we may all rise.
That’s the one. Who promises He will come again and reign on this earth for a thousand years. WHich day I look forward to and am praying that it might be hastened. That, JEsus, svcw, who is my Lord and Savior.
Thanks for asking. I love to bear witess of and in His name, which I do now, in Jesus Holy name, Amen.
Don’t worry, for me it is late also.
What was your point?
Give me a hint of what those links mean.
Lies? I see...so say you.
Well, in the end, Jesus Christ alone will be the judge of that grey...not you, not the Inmans...Him. And I am glad for that because He knows my heart and in Whom I place my trust and have given myself for His atonement and slavation.
As He does all of us. May your faith in Him lead you to immulate Him...indeed, may it lead us all to do so.
My question was simple: the lds christ who was created or the Christ that is eternal.
All your words did not answer my simple question.
The created christ or the eternal Christ.
“You people?”
No, I did not baptise him, or anyone I know.
Rubio and his family would be the best judge of that. If he actively attended between the ages of 12 and 13, it is likely however that he was baptised, and he himself says he felt moved to leave the Mormon Church in favor of the Catholci Church so his family could be united in their faith. That would imply that he was a member.
But what if he was? He was a young kid...and he showed some very mature thinking for a 13 year old in my opinion, wanting his family to remain united in their faith of Christ, Jesus.
I applaud him for those sentiments.
Was Rubio baptized Mormon?
Accept Jeff, lds teachings are that Catholics DO NOT beleive in the lds jesus, so they do not beleive correctly. Remember it was your lds leaders that said Catholics were whores of Babylon".
Was Rubio baptized?
The Church teaches that all of are eternal, svcw, including Jesus Christ.
But you are more interested in using such teachings to distract from the principle teaching of the Church that Jesus Christ, born of Mary...the only one in existance that meets the definition...saves through His atonement.
The rest is simplle interperretation and we have been around this block many times.
If that Christ, (and He is the only one) who lived over 2000 years ago, saves through His miraculous Atonement, then those details matter not a whit. If you put your faith and trust in Him, then He saves you...and that is the essentail doctrine.
And that is why I testify of it and teach of it because it is what saves and the rest is noce to know and helps one understand Go’s will for them int heir particular life’s perhaps, but does not save them, indeed cannot save them.
You can try and distract and detract, and put up all kinds of smoke screens to try and keep people from knowing this critical point about what the LDS church teaches.
Again, IMHO, such attempts are like field mice scurrying around at the feet of hunters out after Elk. The Elk hunt is the prize and what those field mice do as you pass is of little consequence, unless you allow one to trip you and become distracted from the hunt.
So...I will remain focused on Christ Jesus and His salvation and feel no need or desie to answer the questions you toss around in an attempt to muddle the message...and make no mistake, that is what you would like to do IMHO.
Jesus Christ is God’s Son and atoned for all mankind...in the end, that is all that matters and everything...everything flows out of that. That other question is interesting, but it is not salvation.
If you want to know more about the details...have a couple of LDS missionares over to your house and go through all of the lessons with them.
Have a great Sunday.
MMM...
Mormons say he was a Mormon, Christians say he was a Mormon, and Marco Rubio himself says he was a Mormon.
So someone now says he was never a Mormon?
Missionaries - really?
My experiences with momonism goes back to 1962. I have a huge mormon family.
Thanks for being honest, that lds teaches we are all eternal IE gods in our own right.
There rest of your post implies that (lds) jesus is no different than any of us, that he was able to attain some exalted state to atone, because he is not sufficient must work along with us to earn salvation.
Got it.
What is it that you want to produce from Christians in regard to Rubio?
Oy favoy!
I guess we must dismiss that, sorry.
This should help:
Gordon Hinckley answered the question regarding the mormon Jesus:
Another lie by a mormon leader.
Good post...
I would vote for a Raelian if meant getting O out of the office..
Who hates mormons? These religion forum threads are about mormonism.
You name nothing that supports the idea that the general staff of Hitler was full of mormons——not even one.
The original post was trying to equate NAZIs and mormons ( and you did not post it). To make such a suggestion is illogical at best and down right scurrilous at worst.
Why the need exists to make mormonism something it is not is beyond me.
Germany’s nationalism has always been there. Karl Haushofer and the Thue society were instrumental in influencing Hitler and bringing him to power. Why try to tie that to mormonism???
