...this guy needs a course on comparative religions..

Very few if any do comparative studies when they fall into cult religions....otherwise there wouldn't be many who would remain and grow as they do.

The average person simply looks to fill the void within that's intended for God...and so they search ....meanwhile the enemy of mens souls stands waiting to pounce...and does...presenting himself as an angel of light as always and fooling even many who should know better.

Eastern religions are all rooted in pagan God or goddess worship. ..and totally miss the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Mormonism has it's roots clearly in the teachings of the fraud Joseph Smith, who was well known to dabble in the occults...and stole many of the rituals in Mormonism from Free Masonry....a well as from his interest in Islamic teachings.... Which is why the similarities of Smith and Mohammeds "experiences" reflect each other.

Smith was well known in his youth as a great "story teller" and manufactured his own dream world of those fantasies...not uncommon for a fifteen year old who had many times tricked his family membeers and others with his pranks..... But then his family was also involved in occult practices. So understandably he would be intrigued by the occult.. and was.

Smith was a charlatan and fraud and proved as much many times over.....but brainwashed followers, who have a need for a religious leader, will always ignore the warnings...and thus the cults flourish and grow.

One does wonder about the sensibilities of those who would "believe" and put their faith in a fifteen year old teenagers fantasy world.

I have not even heard him speak excepts for a couple sound bites, as i follow politics from a distance, but it does seem he lacks in knowledge and debating acumen needed in debates etc. Newt out does the rest in that, and would be effective in debates against Obama, but his lack of a presidential “persona” and his manifest moral failures work against him. And besides other negative things about Romney, is his protective personality (which may be linked to Mormonism) works against him connecting on a personal level.

But i do wish more pols would sound and live more like true Bible preachers.
