More like a dork.
Here's a recipe for today's Mary mail.
ImMACulate & Cheese Deluxe:
5 cups cooked macaroni
2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, beaten
salt & white pepper
1/8 t. dry mustard
8 oz. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, for topping
paprika and cayenne pepper, for topping.
Combine all ingredients. Place in 3-quart baking dish. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8-10. (Unless you pray to Mary to feed 5,000 people with it).
An interesting response to Scripture. Why do you mock quotes from Holy Writ?
I feel sorry for the guy and anyone who trusts his teaching. Hes not sure if his prayer for salvation will be answered and doesnt trust God to carry him through.
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Then he makes a really weird comment that indicates one is saved by belonging to some organization.
>>We are not saved alone but as members of the body of Christ, the church.<<
We are not saved as members of the body of Christ. We are added to the body of Christ through salvation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
They were added to the church after being saved. The church consists of those who have been saved through the completed work of Christ.
He then repeats the nonsense of all Catholic in direct contradiction to what scripture teaches.
>>I am being saved<<
Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
If the man doesnt trust Christ and what He did he should just say so.
And to think that all Paul said to the jailor was believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved-and your house. Is it any wonder they warned us of the doctrines of man?
Prove it.
Either prove that she belongs to any religion that says that or that she believes that herself or understand that we will from this point understand that what you say can not be trusted or that you intentionally make salacious comments that are intended for only nefarious purposes.
Is scripture blah, blah, blah to you?
It's just too bad you don't seem as interested in posting the gospel of the grace of God daily. Mary doesn't save. Christ does.
Is it any wonder they warned us of the doctrines of man?
>Like the rapture. Sola Scriptura. Sola Ego (aka Sola Fide), altar calls, once saved, always saved, etc.
Then he makes a really weird comment that indicates one is saved by belonging to some organization.
>>Spoken like a good Gnostic.
Furthermore, we accept and confirm the councils of the holy fathers, and their traditions and writings which are agreeable to divine revelation.
And though the enemies of Orthodoxy oppose this providence and the saving revelation of the Lord, yet the Lord has considered the reproaches of His servants, for He mocks those who blaspheme His Glory, and has challenged the enemies of Orthodoxy and put them to flight!
As we therefore bless and praise those who have obeyed the divine revelation and have fought for it; so we reject and anathematize those who oppose this truth, if while waiting for their return and repentance, they refuse to turn again to the Lord; and in this we follow the sacred tradition of the ancient Church, holding fast to her traditions.
To those who deny the existence of God, and assert that the world is self-existing, and that all things in it occur by chance, and not by the providence of God, Anathema!
All: Anathema! (...and after each exclamation.)
Deacon: To those who say that God is not spirit, but flesh; or that He is not just, merciful, wise and all-knowing, and utter similar blasphemies, Anathema!
To those who dare to say that the Son of God and also the Holy Spirit are not one in essence and of equal honor with the Father, and confess that the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not one God, Anathema!
To those who foolishly say that the coming of the Son of God into the world in the flesh, and His voluntary passion, death, and resurrection were not necessary for our salvation and the cleansing of sins, Anathema!
To those who reject the grace of redemption preached by the Gospel as the only means of our justification before God, Anathema!
To those who dare to say that the all-pure Virgin Mary was not virgin before giving birth, during birthgiving, and after her child-birth, Anathema!
To those who do not believe that the Holy Spirit inspired the prophets and apostles, and by them taught us the true way to eternal salvation, and confirmed this by miracles, and now dwells in the hearts of all true and faithful Christians, and teaches them in all truth, Anathema!
To those who reject the immortality of the soul, the end of time, the future judgment, and eternal reward for virtue and condemnation for sin, Anathema!
To those who reject all the holy mysteries held by the Church of Christ, Anathema!
To those who reject the Councils of the holy fathers and their traditions, which are agreeable to divine revelation and kept piously by the Orthodox Catholic Church, Anathema!
To those who mock and profane the holy images and relics which the holy Church receives as revelations of God’s work and of those pleasing to Him, to inspire their beholders with piety, and to arouse them to follow these examples; and to those who say that they are idols, Anathema!
To those who dare to say and teach that our Lord Jesus Christ did not descend to earth, but only seemed to; or that He did not descend to the earth and become incarnate only once, but many times, and who likewise deny that the true Wisdom of the Father is His only-begotten Son, Anathema!
To the followers of the occult, spiritualists, wizards, and all who do not believe in the one God, but honor the demons; or who do not humbly give their lives over to God, but strive to learn the future through sorcery, Anathema!
WE GET IT, narses.Really? Somehow I doubt that. Your contempt for Holy Writ is duly noted though.
Now, either show those proofs or we will from this point understand that what you say is untrue and meant only as salacious obfuscation.
Is scripture blah, blah, blah to you?
Come on, show from scripture that one needs to belong to an organization before salvation.
More projecting. But considering the vehemence which Catholics display towards anyone who they feel disparages Mary in the least, even by simply adhering to the known, stated in Scripture facts about her.
Mary was a young Jewish virgin who was given the assignment of bearing the Christ because she had the right credentials (of the house and lineage of David).
She remained one until after Jesus' birth, when Joseph took her as his wife.
She, by her own admission, stated that she needed a savior, her tacit admission of being a sinner.
