“Please educate yourself on the sabbath and the lords day and how that came about and then answer intelligently.
THANKS”
You are not getting off to a good start here. That was a lousy FIRST POST!
Perhaps you should explain INTELLIGENTLY what your point is.

I'm not very intelligent but I will try.
After God created the world in six days Then He blessed and sanctified the seventh day
The Hebrew word Sabbath, means "to rest from labor"
Ex 20:8 - Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, ...
According to Jews, the seventh day began at sunset on Friday and ended at sunset on Saturday
Commanded to Israelites: Exo 16:23-30 Exo 16:1 Exo 16:23,29 Neh 9:14
Started with Moses for Israelites, his chosen people only The Sabbath became a sign between God and Israel as His special people - Exo 31:13-17 Commanded of Israel because they had been delivered from slavery - Deut 5:15
Jesus kept the Sabbath, He was Jew, he even corrected those (Jews) who added to law, Grain on Sabbath, healing on sabbath was OK, etc....
CHRISTIANS ASSEMBLED ON THE FIRST DAY, Day Christ arose and delivered us
Act 20:7 Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight
Note, not the observe Sabbath, but to remember our Lord (Jesus) Not on Christmas, but by breaking bread (Lord's Supper Jesus said do this in remembrance of me)
I Cor 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: 2 On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections .
Christian no long observe Sabbath, that was for Jews, old law
Christians rest is found in Jesus no longer Sabbath
Heb4:1-11 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest,
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: And God rested on the seventh day from all His works;
5 and again in this place: They shall not enter My rest.
6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, Today, after such a long time, as it has been said:
Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Thank you.
My point in the dup thread about a week ago was this: It’s not your church so why do you care? Now have an egg nog and mind your own business.
