What if the overwhelming majority of the parish of the Good Shepherd voted to be received into the Orthodox Church, after the normal Catechesis? And what if they (or their new Diocese) wanted to keep, or buy, the building. What would Jefferts-Schori do then?

Yep. . and if Christians don’t get their priorities right and start supporting their Christian churches both financially and with their presence in their towns, they’ll wake up one day with the Muslim call to prayer being broadcast from mosques on every street corner five times a day. Too late then.

"It's unconscionable for a Christian to impose such a condition on a fellow Christian, telling them who they can and can't worship with and who they can and can't affiliate with."
I find it unconscionable for a church to abandon the Scriptures. Homosexuality is a sin, and the Bible knows nothing about female priests/pastors.

Read a Qur'an Day [Promoted by "US Catholic" ]
Catholic church in Cologne collects money for a mosque
A Catholic Church (in Venice Italy) Turns Into A Mosque (each Friday)
Muslim-Catholic pact to foster respect
Muslims Get "Prayer Room" at Catholic University
Allah Takes Over Catholic Church
Vatican's pact with IslamIt's true. The French and German bishops have got to be THE most liberal in the ENTIRE world, and the American bishops are deluded by visions of a "successful" multisectarian society (the U.S.) into supporting rapprochement at the expense of theological soundness.
And they all have a very profound effect on the Vatican's PR...
