How are you doing today, Paragon?
Pretty good. Been really busy though. And yourself?
Again, who do you say Yashua is according to LDS teachings???? I'm still waiting. And so are others here.
Other that the flu, OK.
But you know, there’s even a blessing in that: It gives me time that I must spend alone and I get to spend that time with Him without worrying about all the things I need to be doing. Even lying in bed sick for hours at a time, I can focus on Him and the sickness fades out.
So, oddly enough, I won’t complain about having it. :-)
God Bless,
SC
What does the LDS website say about who Jesus is? You have looked right?
The LDS "appears" to subscribe to the Biblical Yashua. But the LDS lies. When you look into their writing such as "Jesus the Christ" by Talmadge (you have read it right?) The LDS church is lying on their website. Yashua is not what the LDS church believes. You have another Jesus, not the Yashua of the Bible.
From your own blasphemous writer:
Milton R. Hunter, Council of the Twelve Apostles (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)confirms this doctrine: "The appointment of Jesus to be Savior of the world was contested by one of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer,...this spirit-brother of Jesus desperately tried to become the Savior of mankind." (The Gospel Through the Ages, 1945, p. 15)
The Apostle Paul wrote:
In the 2nd letter to the Corinthians Paul warns about the very real possibility of another Jesus, a Jesus different from the Jesus Paul had presented to the Corinthians. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it! 2 Corinthians 11:4
PS. You’re using your own circular reasoning. You say you believe in the Biblical Yashua and if you don’t believe me, then go read it for yourself at the LDS web site. But their own doctrines convicts them of straight out and out lying.
Each person in this life is endowed with those talents and capacities which his pre-earth life entitle him to receive. “
PD, I do not understand the above statement at all. What is the LDS teaching of where and how people became entitled to or endowed with their pre-earth talents? And, is it the teaching of Joseph Smith or someone after him?
Thanks,
SC
Jude 3 contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
Who do you say Jesus is?
By what a top hat, some smooth stones, a jug of lds whiskey, some first visitor (version 1 through 9)? It was not inspired by God Almighty.
From your own blasphemous writer:
Aaah so you CAN read! I knew you could. You are off on the “blasphemous” bit though. You should keep at it. Keep reading both sides. Eventually you will figure out that there is no discrepancy between the truth and the LDS Doctrines. I can promise you that.
If you think you have discovered some “issue” then you aren’t understanding something correctly. Seen it happen. Had it happen. Study and prayer will help immensely. Ask. Knock.
There is only one Jesus Christ that is in both the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon. He leads his Church today. He wants you to know it. You can.
Question for PD, who are the "some" who he is not well pleased with? Did it ever have anything to do with skin color?
Check out www.lds.org and search on “premortal existence”. You’ll find lots of good related information.
