Actually, I think theology usually needs to be more brutally examined because it is virtually always wrapped in so many fierce rationalizations, customs and traditions of man etc. etc. etc.

I appreciate the post. I’ve had the opportunity to pray for a few folks that were close to death.
I’ve noticed a heightened sense of the spiritual realm in most these folks.
One commented seeing demons gathering around, I then began to pray, invoking the name of Jesus and commanding they leave.
Soon after she started seeing a beautiful blue flame on the ceiling and mentioned seeing angels.

Humans are such interesting critters. All of us.
We have little choice but to think our choices and perspectives are most correct,
or we’d have DIFFERENT ones! LOL.
and, I like to think or have come to conclude . . . that
RELATIONSHIP IRON SHARPENING IRON
IS A MAJOR REASON FOR ALL THIS WE CALL EARTH AND LIFE.
I think it’s pretty inescapable for emotions to be high about eternal things. And, given that they are eternal things, it’s probably fitting that emotions can get intense about highest priority things.
AND Proddys and RC’s . . . everyone, sooner or later puts lesser things above God. Everyone. Some seem to make it a hobby. Some make it an obsession and some seem to pretend it’s the highest form of righteousness—regardless of the label in the church yard.
I understand that it is difficult to impossible for some RC’s, maybe most, to accept, or even tolerate the pointedly intense and vivid things I say about beliefs, dogma, structures, practices, personages.
What has been more than a little frustrating and troubling is the . . . chronic on the part of some . . . equal or worse castigations of Proddy beliefs, practices etc. etc. etc. from the most haughty, self-righteous, sanctimonious, exclusivist etc. perspective . . . from the beginning of my experiences on FR.
Yet, when the tables are turned—one would think an atom bomb had been lit. Dozens of RC’s sit on the abuse button and the FR world has to STOP until the world is remade in the image and sensibilities of the RC’s parking their anatomy on the abuse button.
Wellllllllllllllll excuse me!
That level of outrageous hypocrisy has NEVER sat well with me . . . nor, frankly, with God. If you doubt me, ask Him.
A good percentage of my fiestiness and fierce wording, intensity etc. is merely a determined, persistent, lovingly faithful effort to show a mirror to that kind of hypocrisy.
Sure, a good bit is also to rant in memorably vivid terms against what I see as beliefs and practices which doom individuals to hell or at least serious risk of hell.
Y’all do the same toward Proddys . . . so what. It’s the nature of the game. It’s inherent in such a dialogue from such opposite perspectives. No need to get one’s knickers or egos in a twist. It’s just ideas and behavior and dogma and little squigglies on a screen.
We all know, if we are honest . . . we tend to get most irate when our opponents are most correct . . . about . . . us. Whether our irateness is consciously derived or unconsciouisly reflex actions . . . the root is virtually always in being upset because the dastard has the audacity or accident to be right about our crud. Can’t get much more deplorable than THAT!
All the more so, if they “just happen” to be right about our unGodly SACRED COWS! HORRORS TO THE MAX.
PULL OUT THE STOPS. PARK THE WHOLE TOWN ON THE ABUSE BUTTON!
Wellllllllll, Whoop-T-Do. It so happens, that seems to be. . . no, I can’t get away with that—that IS . . . one of the major purposes, goals, reasons God designed me.
And, you can be sure I’ve been an equal opportunity harrasser of RELIGIOUS HYPOCRISIES wherever I’ve been—on all sides of all asiles and all sides of all issues.
You can imagine the depths and intensities of the fiery furnaces God engineered to confront me with my own!
Actually, for all my mother’s flaws, that was one of her better qualities . . . as well as one of my step-father’s. They simply would not long tolerate gross hypocrisies in lofty religious positions.
HOWEVER, FOLKS, IN MY SCHEME OF THINGS, DO NOT HAVE to pay any attention to such pontifications on my part. And, having paid attention, they don’t have to change a thing—
UNLESS GOD TELLS THEM TO!
In terms of my worth as anything, my pontifications are nothing more substantial nor of eternal signifcance than a gnat’s uhhhhhhhhh burp.
. . . UNLESS GOD ENLIVENS SUCH AND SAYS OTHERWISE.
It has been my experience that WHEN my pontifications have little value or accuracy, FOLKS’ EGOS DO *NOT* GET HOOKED.
And when my pontifications are hitting bull’s eyes within people’s hearts, values and practices,
They HOOK EGOS right, left, up, down and intensely automatically.
Just an observation.
Certainly I’m happy to return the favor. You can talk about my binky anything 24/7/365. Whenever God says your assertions have some merit I have to pay attention to and adjust myself or my life over—well and GOOD. I’ll thank you for the exhortation. Praise God, pass the ammunition . . . and the binky . . . if that helps me get closer to God.
I think you have an above average capacity to hear my heart and understand my mind in this. And for that, I’m deeply humbled.

I have read so many visions that conflict so I do not think going to and fro to every vision is wise. All though I do read protestant and catholic vision or prophecy with extreme caution.

Story of my life, for sure. If I had a nickel for every time someone has told me such, I’d not need any [non-existent] retirement funds! LOL!
I agree that being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine or vision is counter productive at best.
I do try and find the better Visitation experiences which are congruent with Scripture and mostly with each other.
I figure God has LOTS of latitude and capacity to tailor each experience to each individual experiencer without violating reality or HIS TRUTH. One of the perogatives of being God.
The Bible speaks of things being confirmed by 2-3 witnesses. I suspect I can find 10-12 Visitation experiences which all agree with Scripture and with each other about the essentials of this one. I think I’ve read that many already.
However, I want to find some from the last year or 4.
Anyway—an interest of mine . . . amongst 100’s of interests. LOL.
Those interests and priorities are being drastically whittled down as we rush toward The Rapture and Armageddon, however.
