as predictable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. assertion made, assertion challenged, assertion not supported with facts or evidence.
Proddys have supported our assertions as nauseum hereon for more than 10 years.

You left out married Peter - who was your first pope.
believe me, your “non-answer” says it all, i get the same “non-answer” when challenging LDS.
whether the clergy is married or not is not a doctrine of the Church. it is a matter of Church discipline and can be changed at any time.
People seem to defend to the death their particular faith, they grew up within or adopted without much inquiry. A good way to be off the main teachings. Paul writes if you are given/taught any other gospel than what I taught you do not accept it. We do seek, we do yearn to know the one true God. Satan is the prince of the earth and he is in the business of deception. He is really good at it. No one intends to fall into a false gospel; but a reading of the Bible gives us instance after instance of the children of Israel falling away and forgetting the covenant, and going astray. All of this is Satan's plan. do not accept wholeheartedly commentaries ... read the Bible, and pray to God for truth and understanding and wisdom. Anyone asking in truth will not be deceived. God will grant knowledge of the truth to sincere hearts. We all are desiring to know the Most High God, there are differences in translations. Study to show yourself approved. It can not be rushed. Pray for finding Truth with God's help.
It is Church governance, it is not a doctrine.
1 Corinthians 1:10-17 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloes people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. What I mean is that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," or "I follow Apollos," or "I follow Cephas," or "I follow Christ."
Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name. (I did baptize also the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
Thank you for your thoughtful reply. We need to start with some basic beliefs that hopefully everyone can agree to:
1.False religion appeared quickly, but since the Holy Spirit was sent to protect the elect, it is not possible for Church as a whole to fall into apostasy.
2.The elect will not believe false doctrines.
3. Jesus started a Church and it has received authority directly from Him to Teach and Baptize.
4. We are not to judge the Church, but we need to learn from it’s teaching.
5. Christian unity is very important so the world will know Jesus was sent by the Father. ( John 17 )
6. The Church has existed on earth from 33ad to the present.
7. Reading the Bible is no guarantee against believing false doctrine or teachers. Every cult and denomination claims to get their beliefs from the Bible, and yet, they all disagree on such things as the Trinity, divinity of Jesus, baptismal regeneration, infant baptism, mode of baptism, the Lord’s Supper, the Mass, the OT canon, apostolic succession, divorce, etc. etc.
8. Corporately, even when Israel forgot the covenant, and even with the hypocripsy of the Pharisees, Jesus still worshipped in the Temple.
9. We are not supposed to privately interpret the Bible to oppose what the Church teaches.
10. Satan takes great advantage of the confusion in the Christian world to set up false groups ( LDS, JW, SDA )
11. Without the authority of the Church, we would have no definitive way of knowing which books belong to in the canon and which are spurious.
12. The main criteria used by the Church to set the canon was by Sacred Tradition. Did the book teach what the Church has received from the Apostles orally? Was the book read at Mass?
13. The Holy Spirit will not lead someone to believe a doctrine today, that He led someone in the 1st or 2nd century to believe the opposite.
So, you see why i am so strong in my belief Christians need to be unified in the Church and not be arguing or opposing it. God bless you.
UNMITIGATED NONSENSE YET AGAIN.
I assume RC’s consider Peter one of the elect.
He believed false doctrine for a time. Sheesh.
Sometimes it seems like y’all don’t even read y’all’s own junk.
i thought you said in a previous post you considered yourself a Catholic once. Hard to believe, especially when you try to say what it teaches. “Rome” doesn’t teach it’s Peter is the head of the Church! The head of the Catholic Church is Jesus, but He left Apostles of which Peter was the visible leader and sign of unity. When Apostles went around the known world preaching and setting up local Church communities, they appointed Bishops to carry on their mission once they were gone. These Bishops appointed other men to succeed them, so you have this Apostolic Succession to the present day. The Bishop of Rome, as the successor of St. Peter is the visible head of the Church, but it it Jesus’s Body and He is the Head!
INDEED.
Professional question:
This is a 12 pt video series —I started with part 3 here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6Ieca5utqo
John Moore is the speaker. I think his background is as an intelligence/psych ops/ detective/ researcher sort of person.
Anyway—he’s put together the best summary I’ve seen yet re globalism; looming disasters man made and otherwise etc.
He asserts that
SEA LEVEL is defined as the sea’s average level at Cornwall England.
That over the globe, it can vary as much as 450 feet.
Further, that there are—I forget the number—many hundreds? thousands? of CUBIC MILES OF WATER IN A BULGE AT THE EQUATOR.
Is that, at all true?
I’ve read enough and talked to enough people and listened to enough speakers to believe that John Moore has hit many things quite accurately from all his well placed personal connections.
Many of his things can be verified in the public record.
I’d just like to verify the above.
you can say AMEN 1,000 times if you want, but the sad thing is if you and the person you think you agree with are together on a Sunday morning, the likelihood is you probably wouldn’t worship together and one would probably consider the other a heretic, and both claim the Bible as the authority. In reality, the BIBLE wouldn’t be the authority in that case, you would be your own Pope, therefore, you make yourself the authority. i am using “you” in the general sense, don’t want the moderator to think i am making it personal!
Thankfully, my life has proven such notions quite wrong.
Epic fail yet again.
BTW, in your terms so to speak . . .
Congrats on another RC NONanswer.
how is the Vatican and Walmart conspiring together according to this guy?
