Once again, Dr. E, you nailed it. Those five words stink of brimstone.

PS. And it seems that every time there is a Protestant thread, no matter what the topic, it gets soiled by the Catholics.

If you (plural) can't handle Catholic input when you (plural) slander the church, or if you (plural) are too thin-skinned to get on the open threads, then just stick to the caucus or ecumenical threads. That way, you (plural) won't feel so "soiled."

Otherwise, open threads are the town square. Within the rules of the RF, anyone is free to post. Here's an idea: why not ask Christ Jesus to protect you (plural) from any stain of Catholic thought, so that you (plural) can feel more pure? I'm sure if we are so evil, He will do exactly that.

It is the blasphemy that I can't handle.

You're not evil, but your doctrine is.

Blasphemy, smasphemy. You are free to call whatever you wish “blasphemy” and anyone else is free to disagree. No one is enforcing beliefs at the point of a gun, this is discussion.

So if you (plural) can’t handle it, go elsewhere. Because Catholics aren’t being run off by the YOPIOS crowd.

Read "Swarms of Locusts" by Michael Bunker. You can get it used on Amazon.

Bunker has an excellent website, too. (But be aware he's not "ecumenical." He's an old-time Baptist whose bark is just as bad as his bite. 8~)

And I just found on Bunker's website this site that looks interesting...

Your religion is false.

Hi, William. We’re indebted to you for all the wonderful, Godly threads you’ve been posting lately.

God is glorified by them.

IIRC, you read the book I referenced in 387.

And so, according to the words of Christ, at Jesus’ impending death, the disciple John was entrusted with taking care of Jesus’ aging mother.

She became NO ONE ELSE’S MOTHER.

Or Christ would have told us that.

So you deny that Peter was the first Pope and granted an office by Christ himself?

Correct: I deny that Peter was the first pope of anything like the Roman Catholic Church. Incorrect: I do not deny that Peter was "granted and office," and keys to the kingdom of heaven, which the Roman Catholic Church definitely is not, never was, and never shall be., although it misrepresents itself to be something akin to the kingdom of heaven---so it has a king (pope) and its own city state, and has ruled and ruined kings for centuries.

Wherever the Roman Catholic Church got to in Europe, there were already Christians there when the Vaticanist missionaries arrived. The means was stated in my original post.

"Biblicist" simply means having a faith based on the Bible. it does not designate any particular named group. Because there have always been, since the Apostles' ministries, true Christians which based their faith on the Scriptures rather than evolving forms of traditions like those of the RCC, Vaticanism has always been forced to use the Bible (almost always messing it up, of course), to try to make people think it is legitimate, which it is not. It is an impostor, a mere caricature, a religious buffoon.

That’s the correct response to blasphemy and pagan assault on the truth.

Pray for it.

The word "PROTESTANT" is in the Title.

And it's open, so anyone can post on it.

Post away. Blaspheme away. Worship Mary. Exalt her above the heavens. It's a free country. I can't stop you from blaspheming the Lord, but I don't have to watch.

I'm outa here.

So Christ wasn't the only sinless person ever born, Huh?

That means that she and Christ were both qualified to save people from their sins. Cough, cough.

Amen. Would that Romanists would clear their throats similarly.

Well, you could always skim the article. Or even the first 5 lines. That might give you an idea what the thread is about.

Which scriptures were used in "the Apostles' ministries?

At first, the Old Testament. Read Acts 1-7 especially. Paul's first epistle, First Thessalonians, was written sometime after the events of Acts chapter 17. Seven of Paul's epistles were written before the close of the Acts period. Peter's epistles were written probably during the Acts period. All 14 of Paul's books were written before 70 A.D. The NT canon was complete before 100 A.D.

A good Latin translation, without Catholic participation was finished around 160 A.D., and was copied, and copied, and copied, and carried along far-flung trade routes by common believers who were never connected in any way with Roman Catholicism.

Do you believe you're receiving an "indulgence" from God for posting that "prayer?" Time off in purgatory by mouthing this blasphemy?

Well now isn't that interesting.. catholics get "paid" for frequent usage of particular prayers. Middle-age thinking comes to mind, no wonder they called it the "dark ages". But then much was bought and sold then to keep their coffers full. Looks like Middle-Age thinging remains intrenched in the minds of some.

I wondered why that prayer was shot out of their cannon so much...Ha! The possibility it's to gain some sort of deal with God along the way. Wonder if they keep track in a ledger or something so they can show it to Him when the day arrives?
