**Your argument is an imaginary straw man.**
My ‘two immortal men’ comment was simply a suggestion, looking for a better ‘trinity’ description from you.
Well then, what do YOU picture in your mind, scripturally, of the Godhead, previous to God being manifest in the flesh? Of course, you’re working from your ‘three separate and distinct persons’ theology.
Was/is there three Spirits? (Jesus said that ‘God is A Spirit’. John 4:24)
Is the Father the oldest Spirit? (oops, that means the others aren’t eternal)
**Rejection of the Trinity**
I don’t deny that there is a omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God. With those attributes, one God is all we need. I know, you believe that there is one God, but believe there are three persons, each being God, but are one in agreement, or something like that. But, if each is God, then you literally have three Gods, nomatter how much you declare three is one.
We all know that the word ‘trinity’; phrases ‘three separate and distinct persons’, and ‘God the Son’ are not found in the scriptures.
But, God refers to himself singularly, hundreds of times, as: I, me, my, myself, mine, etc.
Jesus said the way is strait and narrow, and few there be that find it.
