Annalex: This is why a Holy Inquisition here in this country would be a terrific idea. The Catholic Church in America needs purifucation. 1000S: And then what, genocide? You know when your crazy train leaves the tracks you're responsible for the wreck.
lol. That "wreck" is a scheduled destination. They want all that came with the Inquisition - silencing other voices and stilling hearts.
Astounding candor from one who must long to become an Inquisitor.

Maybe the training wheels came off their patrol cars and they had to go in for repairs.

Catholic church is helping illegals legal help, shelter, jobs, etc. This is the church growth plan for the future. 20 million illegals/Catholics here. Thats a huge population and with high birth rates itll assure expansion over the next few decades.it is all about full pews and high baptism rates ...but short sighted because like other American catholics the next generation will be mostly non attenders or they will become protestants.. and America will be left with the social mess to clean up

What with the Catholic propensity to vote democratic, this Catholic influence in politics does not bode well for our country. One of the Protestant work ethics is the churches take care of their own and then outside the church.
Our Protestant churches usually have deacon boards and deacon collections ...the men serve the members and help pay bills or do physical work on homes of the sick or elderly .Recently an elderly member got a check from the church for needed hearing aides , she refused the help, even though she needed them because she wanted the funds to help some of the families ..If someone is sick the women cook and bring meals .. We help and serve each other
We do not have huge social agencies that feed at the government trough ...
I think that is one reason catholics vote for democrats.. it is the government that meets needs not the church
The Protestant work ethic lives

Virtually every heavily Catholic country is very impoverished compared to heavily Protestant ones So? Christ taught that prosperity decreases chaces of salvation. It is absurd to defend Protestant heresies with economics; that the "gospel of prosperity" couild be invented in the first place condemns your theology.

which method of execution do you favor for heretics? The canonical punishment for heresy has always been excommunication. No one is going to change that.

The Holy Inquisition is an ecclesial court that punishes with excommunication those who pretend to be Catholic while teaching copntrary to Catholicism. The American Church is in a horrid chape because of the liberals in it, and an Inquisition will purify it greatly.
Why is it any matter of yours, anyway? Planning to become a liberal Catholic?

By "purification", do you mean "violent acts?" I mean enforcement of canon laws, defrocking unfit priests and excommunicating the recalcitrant. The goals of the Inquisition have not changed; the ignorance of history among the Protestant anti-Catholics hasn't changed either.

If Catholics want the Catholic church purified, they ought to start with the pedophile priests, the higher ups who protected them, and then start by ex-communicating those public figures and politicians who hold to pro-abortion and pro-homosexual marriage positions. Yes, absolutely. Amen. They should have convened the Holy Inquisiiton ten years ago when the Boston scandals broke.

Though, thankfully
He seems to have returned

The canonical punishment for heresy has always been excommunication. I'm sure that it's official church doctrine so that now all the Catholics can flood the thread and tell everyone how wrong they are AGAIN about the Catholic church.
No one is going to change that.
Newsflash for the typical clueless Catholic. The RCC DID change that back when it horrifically tortured people to death in the name of Christ.
There is a HUGE difference between what the Catholic church states as *official church doctrine* and what it in all actuality practices.
The RCC hides behind that claim of *official church doctrine* every time someone shines the light of truth on its despicable practices. That does not exempt the RCC from the responsibility of its barbaric past.

I mean enforcement of canon laws, defrocking unfit priests and excommunicating the recalcitrant. What a joke. Let us know when that really happens.
The goals of the Inquisition have not changed; the ignorance of history among the Protestant anti-Catholics hasn't changed either.
We're not the ones ignorant of Catholic church history. Or do you deny the Inquisitions sanctioned by your own popes?

And those are some of the tamer pictures.
Doing a google search of “instruments of the Inquisition” will kill your appetite for days.
