Instead, they should look to Jesus alone.

AGREED! The only relationship that matters is between me and JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. This isn't just true for "me" but everyone who ever existed. It is all about this relationship!

You just did a great job of exposing just how many flawed Bibles are out there and are NOT the word of God,but rather something changed by man

But because she was to be the Mother of His Son, God preserved her soul from the stain of original sin from the very instant of her conception in the womb of her mother

Unfortunate, speculation and rationalization without any foundation is scripture.

So God miraculously interrupts the physical inheritance of "original sin" from Mary's mother to Mary? Offcourse, the reality is God miraculously preserved Jesus directly.

NOW NOW.

The opposition is showing signs of

an emotional melt-down

because of such a flood of BIBLICAL TRUTH.

Maybe we should leave them alone for a while with their

Bible mangling,
reality mangling,
history mangling.

. . .

. . .

NAW.

Too many lives are at stake.

This to me is the kind of idea a rational human brain can come up with. It does seem to make common sense.

What are the odds that 99% of what a Church believes/teaches is not found EXPLICITY in Scripture, but either 1). IMPLICITY, between the lines of Scripture, or 2). Books that are not part of God's Word.

Is it just an unfortunate chain of events that causes this. Or a very FORTUNATE chain of events that is CREATED, in order to create a religious system built on everything but the EXPLICIT Word of God?

Though NOT Biblical sense.

When there’s the two, I’ll take Biblical sense every time.

I hope.

EXACTLY, Why I could start a whole new religion around the idea I stated earlier, in this thread that original sin is tranferred through the sperm not the egg.

If a Freeper said "Islamicists are homicidal maniacs" that would not be making it personal. But if he said "You are a homicidal maniac" that would be a personal attack which is not allowed.

If a Freeper said "Protestant Freepers are ignorant knuckle-draggers" that would not be making it personal. But if he said "You are an ignorant knuckle-dragger" that would be making it personal which is not tolerable on the Religion Forum.

If a Freeper said "Catholic Freepers have personality disorders" that would not be making it personal. But if he said "You have a personality disorder" that would be making it personal which is not tolerable on the Religion Forum.

If a Freeper said "Modern Psychologists are occultist" that is not making it personal. But if he said "You are an occultist" that would be making it personal and not tolerable on the Religion Forum.

Accusing another Freeper whether directly or indirectly of alcoholism, drug abuse or needing psychiatric drug treatment is flame baiting and therefore not allowed on the Religion Forum.

Ditto for accusing another Freeper - directly or indirectly - of criminal behavior or moral turpitude.

However, accusing religions, religious leaders, dieties, writers or groups of Freepers of heresy, blasphemy, apostasy, idolatry, stupidity, blindness, pride, ignorance, etc. should be expected on “open” Religion Forum threads.

If you cannot cope with condemnations and ridicule then IGNORE open Religion Forum threads altogether and instead read and post to “ecumenical” “caucus” “prayer” or “devotional” RF threads.

If a thin skinned Freeper hangs around the open RF thread wailing about the offenses, he is in effect putting blood in the water which invariably results in an even more frenzied and broader offense. It is flame baiting and hurts his own side of the debate in the town square format.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

“”Books that are not part of God’s Word.””

The Holy people God entrusted to give you Bible canon say the Deuterocanonical books are the word of God.

Examples...

According as the wisdom of God testifies beforehand when it says, “The devising of idols was the beginning of fornication.” (Wis. 14:12)Against the Heathen, 9 (A.D. 347), in NPNF2, IV:9.-St. Athanasius

“Yet the Holy Spirit in the thirty-ninth(9) psalm, while lamenting that all men walk in a vain show, and that they are subject to sins, speaks thus: “For all that every man walketh in the image.”(Psalm 39:6) Also after David’s time, in the reign of Solomon his son, we read a somewhat similar reference to the divine likeness. For in the book of Wisdom, which is inscribed with his name, Solomon says: “God created man to be immortal, and made him to be an image of his own eternity.”(Wisdom 2:23) And again, about eleven hundred and eleven years afterwards, we read in the New Testament that men have not lost the image of God. For James, an apostle and brother of the Lord, whom I have mentioned above- Saint Jerome

If you don’t want to be the Ellipsis Squad then just don’t do it.

If you want to disagree with my comment, fine, and noted.

Partial quotes and those quotes taken out of context may very well be disingenous, misleading, or downright dishonest.

Ellipsis Squad, Pedant, whatever. I am certain you wouldn't want to be among those considered unreliable.
