I’m not sure but I think that might’ve been dirty.

“Oh! I just noticed you’re getting married! For real! Whoo-—eee!!”

Yep. Going to give married life one more shot (second marriage) and this time, I’m taking my vows more seriously. Especially the “until death” part.

“Visne saltare? Viam Latam Fungosam scio.”

Sorry, I’m spoken for.

:o)

One trend in modern relationships (according to what I read) is for men, married or single, who consider themselves heterosexual to nonetheless favor sodomitic sex acts over normal acts with women. I expect there’s some connection to the “bigger picture” in this aspect of men’s rejecting what is naturally female.

Thank you for that post, Alex. For everyone's enjoyment, here is poem by Anne Bradstreet, Puritan, wife of one of the Massachusetts Bay Colony's early governors.

To My Dear and Loving Husband

Anne Bradstreet (c.1612-1672)

F ever two were one, then surely we.
If ever man were lov'd by wife, then thee.
If ever wife was happy in a man,
Compare with me, ye women, if you can.
I prize thy love more than whole Mines of gold
Or all the riches that the East doth hold.
My love is such that Rivers cannot quench,
Nor ought but love from thee give recompetence.
Thy love is such I can no way repay.
The heavens reward thee manifold, I pray.
Then while we live, in love let's so persever
That when we live no more, we may live ever.

Thank you. We should be ridiculously happy, we’ve been together 18 months and to this day have not argued even once.

“Not even about the Civil War?!?”

Not even about...anything. And I argue about EVERYTHING with anyone. But when she’s around I just have a peace about me.

“Being anti-birth control is ridiculous.”

Liberal Catholics everywhere agree with you. It’s one of the few subjects where most conservative Protestants and all liberal Catholics agree. I don’t think you could find a Catholic who digs “gay marriage”, priestesses, and abortion who also thinks birth control is wrong.

Freegards

I’ve so many icky threads that I pinged as my pinglist duties wherein some odd members of FR assert that men and women perform sodomy all the time.

I just don’t get that statement at all.

Maybe in their circles.

I am no longer supportive of anything that gives humans the impression that they control the beginnings or endings of life.

That is a power to divine for a human to exercise.
