OK, so the seven years started when? January 1, 2007?
So many holes in this hermeneutic, one knows not where to begin.
If you cross your eyes, recite the 9 times tables out loud 36 times, bend over so that the top of your head faces the planet of Venus-but only when it is quarter moon and high tide, you will see how this all works out perfectly to show that my calculations are correct!
Earthquakes...signs in the heavens....wars... knowledge increase. Not because there are more, but because 99% percent of humanity knows about them when ever they happen.
Many students of bible prophecy have missed the signing of the 7 year peace treaty in Israel simply because they have not taken God's word literally. Before I go on let me quote the 2 main verses that reveal this event in prophecy. What about that nagging detail of the flood mentioned in Daniel 9:26?Daniel 9:26, 'And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for himself: And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war desolations are determined.

The term of the EU budget is 7 years and was due for renewal on Jan. 01/2007. On this date Jovier Solana made a quick trip to the required office and gave his signature 'confirming' the agreements that he had set up prior to this date and therefore fulfilled all of the requirements that are called for in Daniel 9:26,27.
Can’t believe you haven’t seen this yet.
Unreadable.

The Seven Year Peace Treaty in Israel Has Been Signed.......... |
You people refuse to learn from all of your prior confident assertions that turned out to be so much bovine feces. Your warped perspective on prophecy turns you into cheerleaders for the other team. God’s curse rested upon the faithless ten spies who saw only certain defeat for God’s people in the land of promise. In your assiduous efforts to demoralize God’s people and denigrate His power, you risk committing the same offense against His Kingdom, His glory, and His people.
I further agree strongly with your proposition that construction of a new Temple is not required before the sacrifical worship system can be resumed. That, however, has not happened yet.
You incorrectly identify the place of origin of the prince. 9:26 is translated by King James, "the people of the prince to come will destroy the city and the temple". The word translated "people" is the Hebrew word "yam" which has a literal dictionary definition--"tribal or ethnic group"; so properly translated, that phrase in 9:26 should say "the tribal or ethnic group of the prince to come will destroy . . . "
The identity of the tribal or ethnic group which destroyed the city and temple in 70 AD is of course clearly identified by a number of historical sources. Tacitus, in the Histories identifies them specifically as an army raised by levies on the local (Assyrian) kings. Roman discharge records of the Legions involved make it clear that with the exception of Titus (the 24 year old son of Flavus Titus Vespaisian, the emperor) and a few officers, there were no Western Europeans involved. Josephus describes a number of incidents that take place in connection with the destruction identifying the participants by name and the place of their origin--all come from identifiable historical areas in Assyria.
No doubt--the Prince is an Assyrian.
The fourth empire was located and governed in Western Europe only for a short part of its total history--as you recognize, for most of its history including the last thousand years, it was located in the Middle East with its capitol at Constantinople.
Now sure, the ten nations might have appeared in Western Europe but in the current context, that no longer appears likely for several reasons.
The eleventh horn, or nation, of Daniel 7:8 is "among" but "diverse from" (7:24) the ten nations.
I suggest to you that it is much more reasonable to look for the ten horns where the beast was last seen, particularly in light of a couple of other considerations.
For one thing, the Anti-Christ must be seen as "coming from out of Bethlehem where David was" which is not in Western Europe. And the Prince of Daniel 9:26, presumably the Anti-Christ, is an Assyrian.
Looking at the ten nations out of the Eastern Empire: Turkey, Israel, Syria, Jorden, Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Lebenon, Egypt, Kuwait, and Tunisia, there is today, an eleventh nation living among them which is ethnically diverse from the population of the nations. That nation has its own government, legislative body, judicial system, military, and the like and we call it the "Palestinians".
By the terms of the Interim Agreement (a seven year agreement by its terms, performance of which may not yet have comenced and which has not yet been discernably confirmed), seven nations on the West Bank were set over for Civil Administration to the Palestinian Authority (one of which cities is Bethlehem).
The Anti Christ ("I who come in the name of the father they have rejected but he who comes in his own name they will accept") must be a Jew. So we are not surprised to find a Jew in civil administration on the west bank in a position to be the head (one of the 7 heads of Revelation 13) of Bethlehem.
This individual is an ethnic Assyrian, born in the area south of Damascus in modern Syria to which Shalamaniser removed the tribe of Dan ("Dan thou art a viper") in 724 BC.
I have it on good authority the the newly formed Sanhedrinshalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
has celebrated a Korban Pesach this past Pesach. The first since 70 CE
An altar made from uncut stones is being assembled near Jericho.
It was dedicated this past Tisha B'av.
Tisha B'av was auspicious as it was the date of the destruction of the Temple in 70CE.
At some time in the near future the altar will be moved to the temple mount.
The first Korban Pesach was during the Exodus.
Yah'shua presented Himself as the Korban Pesach to cover our sins.
Look up ! Yah'shua is coming very soon !
In order for the Evil One
to end regular sacrifice
at the middle of the tribulation,
it must start;Daniel 9: 26 "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."Daniel 11: 31 "Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.
Daniel 12: 9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
10 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
12 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days!Regular Passover sacrifice will be restarting after 1940 years.
The Sanhedrin is planning to restart the sacrifice of Lambs at Passover this year.

Of fundamental importance in studying Prophecy is that the terms used are words used by God to communicate to man.
When He speaks of the Temple, he isn’t referencing any religious structure. Instead, His Word is consistent with itself. When He speaks of an abomination that brings desolation occurring in the Temple, it will be a dwelling place of God, not a false god.
Study His Word and let His Word interpret the meanings.
IMHO, neither the Great Tribulation, nor Rapture have yet occurred, we are still in the Church Age prior to the Second Coming. The Great Tribulation commences when Israel seeks security by signing a covenant with the AntiChrist en lieu of placing faith in what God provides her. 3-1/2 yrs into the Great Tribulation, Israel will recognize the AntiChrist at the Abomination of Desolation.
There's an alternate viewpoint on the first part of Daniel 9:27...what if "he" who confirms a covenant is Jesus Christ? We know this his ministry was for 3 1/2 years and then he was "cut off" by his death. He confirmed a covenant with many, the new covenant. And he brought an end to sacrifice and offering via the new covenant.
Daniel 9:26, 'And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for himself: And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war desolations are determined.

If as you say the flood in Dan 9:26 refers to a brilliant "LIGHT" event, how then do you explain Zech 14:4-8 in which the Mount of Olives will break in two, there will be no light and water will flow from the Mount of Olives to the east and west?
Zech 14:4
"On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south."Zech 14:5
"You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake [fn] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him."Zech 14:6
"On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost."Zech 14:7
"It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime--a day known to the Lord. When evening comes, there will be light."Zech 14:8
"On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea [fn] and half to the western sea, [fn] in summer and in winter."
