Don’t change the standard. I replied to the original post.

You show me anywhere in the Catechism that a public confession is needed for the forgiveness of sin.
Otherwise this will be my last post to you.

Here’s a question. Are you Catholic?

Again I was quoting (See the “”) the ignorance in post #103, "ridiculing" the "ridiculer".
Usually when I am called names on forums, I quote those names for sarcasm purposes in my response, especially when the insults have nothing to do with the question.
Move the goalpost a little more will you.

Nowhere unless it's not contrite, 1445, 1448, 1450, 1451, 1452 (Remember, Ted had a year and 1/2),1453, 1455 (Remember, Ted had a year and 1/2) etc... Discernment and penance, but if you want all the scandal brought onto the Church by creating “pro-abortion” Catholics who continue down this road please look at 2284-87.
I guess Augustine's advice is too passé for modern times?

You were quoting.
You were NOT quoting a description I applied to you.
You applied it to you.

Move the goalpost a little more will you. Nope.
You've moved it far enough already.

Again, contrition is God's call, not yours.
Thank you for that too, God!

Whoops!
Contrition is God’s call, not his.
It will be nice to see an answer to the question.

Sorry, forgot 1459-60, keep in mind, over a year when you reflect on those, plus being contrite. Hope the portion of the letter written to the Vatican that was not made public was less self-rightous. But on the scandle Ted caused and his political beliefs not sure.
You can be done with me by the way. Your acceptance of Ted’s scandle is your choice. The advice of the early Church Fathers was a time of divison with the world. Me, I side with the narrow path of strength. Too many pro-abortion (Not the fundumental reason though) social justice voters who seperate politics from the divine for my taste (Proddies and RCCers).

Let me put it another way:
Is there a reason you would refuse to state whether you profess faith in the Catholic Church or otherwise refuse to identify yourself as a Catholic?

“In the poisonous little mind of a Catholic-hating bigot.”
#103 was in reference to who? My reaction by using what you said obviously went right over your head.
I have been sticking to the subject at hand, you move the goalpost, at least I respond directly instead of one liners that have no meanings to what was posted, you only serve to distract and evade.
How did Kennedy get an annulment? Why are we to use Spiritual discernment on fellow believers?

#103 was in reference to who?It was a reference to the mind of whomever had collected that body of anti-Catholic bigotry in their head.
Are you a Catholic?

I have
not moved the goalpost. I have however observed your attempts to do so.
Do you profess the Catholic faith as set forth in the Catechism of the Catholic Church?

Exactly, but read on, especially the scandal parts which I guess you did not read. Also the actual recommendation for Penance which you did not read, I guess.
Actions speak louder than lips.
