He wasn’t. He was dead serious.

>>Just face it, Mark, we protestants who love the Lord Jesus Christ are heading for heaven<<

The Catholic Church believes that too?

“It follows that these separated churches and Communities, though we believe they suffer from defects, are deprived neither of significance nor importance in the mystery of salvation. In fact the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as instruments of salvation, whose value derives from that fullness of grace and of truth which has been entrusted to the Catholic Church.”[12]”

There is no doubt. However can one say the same concerning those of the Catholic Church when some non-Catholics are speaking?
Kingpins10 doesn’t seen to be saying that in his posts.

Well, lots of people can pull off a good lie.
I’ve been duped myself from time to time.

But a Catholic would not even think to use the words “Going to Confessional.”

That would be like saying, “I threw a baseball stadium” instead of a “baseball”.

You’re the master of them, Pet.

I have come to expect to be trashed with lies by anti-Catholic bigots, mare.

You don't disappoint.

My pastor was also a Catholic for many, many years.

The seductive embezzler?

I'm sure he spinned a fantastical tale most beguiling...

Brilliantly put, netmilsmom.

God bless!

***You guys twist scripture to suit your agenda. One Church—the entire Body of Christ.***

No twisting required. It’s fairly straightforward and references abound throughout the NT.

***No mention of a Magesterium in my Bible.***

No mention of the Trinity either. No mention of the divinity of Jesus in the first three Gospels either. In them, Jesus is called the Son of God; a title which is given to, for example, David, or the giants in Genesis 6. There are many references throughout the NT and the OT referring to either children of God or sons of God depending on the translation.

***Just face it, Mark, we protestants who love the Lord Jesus Christ are heading for heaven and I pray the same for you.***

Many who head for Heaven will not make it; the journey claims many as they succumb to the evil one. But I thank you for your prayers because I believe that you are sincere. I could use every one and more.

No, Pet, actually it wasn’t him. Sorry to burst your bubble. Oh, and incidentally, after your recent remarks to me, I will not be answering your nasty posts any longer. When you get civil, try again.
