THE AMAZING GIFT OF THE PRIESTHOOD
by Father Baker

"...Simply stated, the Catholic priest is another Christ. Through his ordination he has been granted the amazing gift of being a channel of divine grace for the eternal salvation of those he come into contact with—both in his official ministry and in his personal life."

Blasphemy

You said: If I had cut myself off from so many of God’s gifts, I suppose I’d be inconsolably bitter too.

Me thinks that is how bitter trolls are bred.

Then they populate themselves among those who live in the light to try and drag those who belong to the true Church, founded and protected by Jesus Christ.

Running around calling things ordained by Christ in establishing His Church “blasphemy”. Sad idn’t it?

The truth written in Scripture or the “truth” that a bunch of guys twisted around to suit themselves and then foisted on the world ever since?

Again with the Calvinism.

As part of The Game, as you may well recall, we are not entitled to say what we believe, we are to be told what we believe (true or not) and condemned for it.

1) It's not a game.

2) You are entitled to say whatever you want to say (which you do with every post you make)

3) No one tells you what you believe; we can all read what you and the RCC believe and teach

4) Condemnation is by God according to His word...

"For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." -- Matthew 12:37

***The truth written in Scripture or the “truth” that a bunch of guys twisted around to suit themselves and then foisted on the world ever since?***

Umm, you may wish to consider what Scripture is. It is what we wrote as an accompanying manual for the teachings of the Church. The Church is what Jesus left for us, not writings. The NT wasn’t put together for 300 years after Jesus was taken up to Heaven.

We take it as Jesus meant it...It’s another parable...

It’s always another parable when His Word is too hard!

John 6:60-66 was written just for you!

***Blasphemy***

So, the entire Church was entirely in blasphemy until 1936, when the OPC discovered that it was the only True Church (tm).

All of the Church Fathers were wrong. By golly, I’m sooooo happy that you’ve come on here to enlighten us all.

Disingenuous as usual, Dr. E. I submit the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church with all of its Scriptural evidence for itself and its theology.

LOLOL. Well, ignoring your personally-offensive comment, I submit the whole of the written English language, with a little Gaellic thrown in for additional flavor.

If and when you get around to substantiating your erroneous opinions with the word of God, be sure to ping me.

It's not a game.

True. It's "The Game."

...we can all read what you and the RCC believe and teach...

Insofar as comprehension is an indispensable part of reading, I disagree.

***1) It’s not a game.***

Then you oughta stop playing.

***4) Condemnation is by God according to His word...

“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” — Matthew 12:37***

Then you ought to really consider the words of the WCF and whether you consider Pope Benedict XVI to be the antiChrist. Well, do you?

The Protestant errors in interpreting the Bible require careful and complete catechism in order for us to fall into the same errors.

I support no errors. Your (repeated) false witness against me is noted (again).
