Buried deep in the new law is Sec. 113, an innocuously titled bit called “Preventing Cyberstalking. “ It rewrites existing telephone harassment law to prohibit anyone from using the Internet “without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy.”

But internet ettiquette is such that it is considered polite to ping the person that you are discussing in a post. Otherwise, you are talking behind their backs. That is not considered good form on a site such as this.
