Of course.
You misinterpretations make me laugh, but the Bible itself is authoritative.
"Do you think God is pleased with your irreverant moniker JC when applied to His only Begotten Son?"
I don't mean it as "irreverant". You having a personal problem?
That very nasty pope may have been Benedict IX. I distinctly remember watching on a TV documentary of some kind, the fact (or documented allegation, perhaps) that one pope or another hosted orgies even in the Vatican, and that he or another even allowed a witches' sabbath or pig sacrifice or something of this sort.
I've been searching Web sites about this to serve your request, but have found them skirting the issue on just how untoward Benedict IX was. Apparently there were others that allowed pagan sacrifices of one kind or another, in whatever proximity to halls of worship.
But it is nonetheless.
Where is the name Baptist, where is the name Lutheran, where is your name? Historically, you won't find a Baptist or Lutheran church that was originally in the Holy Lands. All of the oldest churches were, you guessed it, Catholic.
What misinterpretations are those?
That to qualify oneself as a Christian that one has to believe JC as dead, buried and resurrected?
"But it is nonetheless."
To who? You?
Catholic means universal...and that means the entire Church that Jesus created.
For the record, I don't see the SBC in the Bible, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker or any of other fine examples of the anti-Catholic sweaty fire-n-brimstone (with Snake Handling on 'Special Days!') protty mouth preachers.
I'm neither Baptist or Lutheran. Try again.
Oh, you saw a TV documentary. Well, many TV documentaries try to say that Christianity is a hoax. Do you buy those hook, line and sinker too?
Now, when you get your evidence and documentation from a reliable source, get back with me as I said so we can discuss it. Until then, signing off on this!
"Catholic means universal...and that means the entire Church that Jesus created."
Where is that in the Bible? I have Read Romans 16:16.
Jackie Chan is dead?
You mean "To whom?"
Lady, are you just completely out to lunch?
Do you not know your history?
For that matter, what church do you attend? I'm quite sure we can find it was founded by someone in the last 300 years (and I'm being remarkably generous!), not founded by Christ and the one whom he called "a rock" - and upon that rock the Church was built.
Not a personal problem. As a Catholic I have been raised to give great reverence to the Holy Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. When others treat it so carelessly, it goes against the grain of everything I have been taught.
You all and the Catholics on this thread are the ones mocking JC.
I told you the Church I attend, the one mentioned in Romans 16:16.
Thought you might find this helpful...
