Traditional Anglican ping, continued in memory of its founder Arlin Adams.

FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off this moderately high-volume ping list (typically 3-7 pings/day).
This list is pinged by sionnsar and newheart.

Argh. There is now David Virtue’s Interview with ++Bernard Malango online:
Read it all. Someone has emailed me and told me that the story is inaccurate, however. It is someone I trust. I am also concerned this is similar to Virtue’s story on Dromantine, which turned out to be inaccurate, and I wonder if Malango was the source for that story as well.

You can also read more of the Global South telling it like it is. There are copies of the provincial statements, or links to them, at TitusOneNine.

I did read it all, including the comments. I'll preface this with the disclaimer that I'm not Anglican and have not been intimately following the details of what has been going on.

It would appear to me that the Anglican church is in de facto schism between heterodox mostly centered in the USA and Canada and the orthodox largely centered in Africa.

Pardon my ignorance of things Anglican, but what I don't understand is the organization of the US church. Is it broken down further along ethnic or liturgical lines, or is it just one big ECUSA that pretty much all Anglican churches in the U.S. answer to?

You're pretty close. ECUSA is the national (official) Anglican church in the USA. (For historical reasons, the the boundaries of the churches of the worldwide Anglican Communion tend to be national.) However, in the "infected" regions there are churches not affiliated with the world-wide communion who continue to practice the faith.

If you look at the page in my tagline you'll see a list of such. I am in one of those, the APCK.
