Rush didn't lie, he didn't commit adultery, he didn't commit perjury, he didn't rape, he didn't grope, he didn't cheat. He wasn't even hypocritical -- because his point has always been that people can't help themselves around certain drugs and thus usage of such drugs has to be restricted.
Rush was taking painkillers because he is in enormous physical pain from botched back surgery. This is somewhat different than using drugs for recreational purposes. May the writer of this piece never have to lay awake at night for years on end, unable to sleep because of the constant agony. But maybe a few months of such torment would cause him to be less inclined to belittle the behavior of those who have endured such physical trial.
BRAVO!
Hannity had an excellent caller who spoke of her husband's same struggle.
Let the dimbots rage for their time. Let Rush take the cure. He will come back a different man.
I posted that if he came clean, he is in his finest hour.
He did the right thing.
Back to the call on Hannity's show - there is a huge problem with pain management in current medical practice. Perhaps Rush's experience may shine some light on that.
I have seen people on other threads question this assertion by saying that Rush is an active golfer.
If that is so, his pain can't be too bad.
