But with rape,
The actions of the victim give validity to the crime (in societies twerked mind).
While we would come off as just plain silly if we did it with another crime
(ie, my 'stupid man wearing a Rolex in a ghetto bar' analogy).
Sadly, every one of these women, when they told the story, knew they had been raped, but thought they wouldn't be believed because of their bad judgement.

Yes, that's true. There is a possibility that a victim won't be believed.
Until the other victims are brought forward because of the publicity.
Then they find out that each one of the victims thought they wouldn't be believed.
