[history]
October 10, 2003 -- EAGLE, Colo. - The woman who accused NBA superstar Kobe Bryant of rape said he attacked her from behind - grabbing her around the neck with both hands, leaning her over a chair, pulling down her panties and raping her, a detective testified yesterday.

stick a fork in him - he's done
I think Kobe Bryant is a rapist perv misfit and it looks like the evidence will prove it. I'm repulsed with his latest stunt of Bible thumping and public display of his freak show tattoos. He's desperate and it shows.

Under CO's rape shield law, it doesn't matter what she was doing. But Mackey was being clever, bringing this up to discus the alleged victim's injuries, not her sex life. That's the excuse, anyway. I've always said you can judge a client by his lawyer. When Bryant hired this chick, my opinion of him took a further nosedive.

From your link: The 48-year-old conservative Democrat has been accused of making $36,000 a year in 1993 and 1994 from Anderson-Columbia and failing to report the income to the Internal Revenue Service. He and his wife, Pamela, are accused of conspiring to hide the income, using a business called Mackey and Associates.
Geeze mewzilla, if this is the same Pamela Mackey, this is HUGE news and deserves its own post! Wonder how we can find out?

Maybe the press will call her office and ask. I really hope they do.

And if anyone knows of a Bryant ping list, feel free to ping it. If it's the same woman, I wouldn't mind seeing Ms. Mackey get a taste of her own medicine.

Me too. I need to get going, but why don't you send the link to Hannity and Rush, or even Drudge? I think you're onto something!

Desperation tactic. Defense's only hope is to take shots at the victim, damage her in the minds of future jurors, try to upset her emotionally so that she appears unstable After sleeping on this, I am now wondering this morning where the three days thing came from. Why not three guys in two days of four guys in one day?
I am guessing that either this is somehow related to her previous hospitalization for suicide, or some kind of rumor they got some of the backstabbers in town to spread.
There is an older Jane's Addiction song, "Three days, three lovers in three ways..."
I'm just free associating trying to guess where the three guys in three days thing came from. It's not relevant, in my opinion, even if it was true and the three days were the three days before she met Bryant. But I'm wondering where it's coming from.

Elsewhere at that same link it refers to her as his "now estranged wife."
There should be some bio on her somewhere on the web.

Sorry, in America both sides get to put on a case. sure do - Im not discounting that - thats just my opinion - and Kobe's gonna have a real hard time 'splainin away vaginal lacerations and the choke hold -
I havent seen her on talk shows or trotted out trying to play this up - shes behaved like a victim and has held the same story from the minute it happened.
....and from that tiny picture weve seen, she's credible

This question is for the legal experts on this board...Can the victim sue Kobe's attorneys for slander if they cannot prove she had sex with three guys in three consecutive days?

I thought the "three men in three days" statement was very sleazy. She clearly did that to make the victim look like a "slut" even though she framed it as an alternative explanation for the injuries. Why not ask if recent intercourse could have led to the injuries as opposed to three men/three days? Consensual sex doesn't normally lead to that number of lacerations, nor does it typically cause bleeding. Her blood was on her shirt....I would say that's very damning.

.........Mackey infuriated both the judge and the prosecution by suggesting the woman's injuries were "consistent with a person who has had sex with three different men in three days." I'm wandering if Ms Mackey is basing this observation on personal experience?

What an incredibly stupid thing for a defense attorney to have said. She might as well be working for the prosecution. Agreed. When I read that, my reflex was revulsion and the strong desire to slap her silly. The stupid twerp.

"He began kissing her, kissing her mouth, which she agreed," Winters said. "She stated she was fine with that."
The girl probably thought Kobi was interested in a long term relationship...not a one night stand. She just wanted to make out a little...NOT go all the way. Happens all the time.

I dunno, I think this is gonna come down to a case of he said/she said. Medical forensic evidence notwithstanding.
