Unexpectedly, I have never felt stronger, or more directed, or wanted more to make him proud than now. And that's all good. Losing a parent is a milestone, of course, a major life-marker.

Good on you. I have not yet suffered that experience. It will happen, I know. With that awareness, I thus am enjoying my folks as much as possible, sharing the grandchildren and the like. Take care.....
